So, every January, a bunch of christian wackos invade San Francisco to do the Walk for Life, an anti choice protest thing. The counter protest is one of the funnest things ever. I went with Mel C a couple years ago and had a total blast. Mark your calendars for January 21 at 10ish to around 1:30 or 2ish. Start thinking up your best pro choice slogans, and get out your glitter pens to make signs!

Awesome! It seriously was a great time when I went last, and I'm sure it will be again. When it gets closer, maybe we can see about meeting up someplace so we can all stick together.

Hey anyone who has been to the rally before: there's going to be no contact with the Walk for Life participants, right? I know that's what the FB event info said, but something I was reading about Walk for Life said their route was going to end at the same plaza. I just want to know how likely it is that I'll end up running into the ringleader of goons from the clinic where I escort. I'm on her shiitake list because I have a key to the clinic and tell people that they aren't obligated to speak to her :P

This kind of misses the mark a little, but the first thing that comes to mind for me is "Make Love, Not Babies." I've never been good at signs.

Looks like it's going to be rainy, but Erika and I are getting our sign-making gear ready! I'll post details of where/when we're going to meet up when we get it figured out.

Guys, it appears as though it's not going to rain, but it is quite windy, so cover up your ears if you're coming out! Also, I checked the Walk For Life page, and it says the march is now starting at civic center and going up Market to the Embarcadero. According to the site, it gets going around 11:30. I'm planning to try and get to civic center for about 11:00. My cel is 415 dash 684 dash 3243 if anyone wants to text me and find out where I'm at to meet up!
