Hey local Phoenix area friends. I just found out today that I will be doing a cooking demo/dinner at Hackett House in Tempe on Thursday March 8th. It's going to be 4 courses with wine for only $50.00. I say only because it's a pretty good deal for 4 courses with wine. Plus the money goes to support the Tempe Sister Cities Program.

I'm super excited. We are working on a very special menu to celebrate Arizona's 100th year of statehood. Expect some regional goodness and local pesticide free produce from Horny Toad Farms in Phoenix.

I hope some of you locals can come out. This is the first vegan cooking demo/class they have had and they are concerned there won't be a good turn out, so I want to show them that there are lots of people who will come out for awesome vegan vittles.

Had a great day in the test kitchen. Have 3 of the four courses created! ZOMG so yummy! One more to go!

How exciting! Thursday could be tough but I am definitely interested and would bring the boy along.

Your menu looks amazing and I really want to do this. Will the cooking class continue all the way until 9, or is some of that later time for leisurely wining and dining? My poor boy leaves for work at 4:30 am so we can't stay out until 9 on a Thursday (we're getting old).

You should get in touch w/ the coordinators @ the Vegan Arizona and VegPhoenix Meetup groups. They'll fill those seats for ya! I don't know if I'll make it because $50 is pretty steep for me.

oink - I am sorry I didn't respond. I have had so very little time on the PPK the last few months. It looks like they may be inviting me back for the fall. I will post details when I get them.
