Does anyone have this book*? Have you tried any recipes? It has been sitting on my shelf totally unused for the past year, even though the recipes sound reasonable enough and the photos are nice.
*Mine is called Venturesome Vegan Cooking, but some have Vegetarian in the title instead, though they have the same recipes.

i had this book for a few years, and finally got rid of it last year. it was called "vegetarian" but everything was vegan. i remember feeling there wasn't anything especially "venturesome" about the recipes, but nothing i made was bad. i got rid of it because it just adequate. nothing was bad, but the stuff i did like i found better versions of elsewhere.

EmperorTomatoKetchup wrote: is it worth getting? No. It's been out for some time, and maybe when it came out the fact that it was vegan was enough to make it "venturesome." There are so many truly impressive vegan cookbook options now that this one is positively mediocre by comparison.

Ah, wished I'd tried that one! I ended up giving mine away.
