I disapprove of this cold.
I left a cold place, partially so that I wouldn't have to be so cold anymore! But here I am, wearing a hoodie over my sweater and giving surly glares to the world and wishing my classroom would warm the hell up.
And it's going to start RAINING later this week! Whine whine whine.

The weather has been really forked up this winter. It's been above 0C for many days this January and we have hardly any snow. For comparison, it is usually NEVER above 0C by any stretch and we are usually buried under a metre of snow. It's 6C today. What the hell.

Snow! I have hot cocoa mix and marshmallows, which means I'm going to bully someone into building a snowman with me today. :]

Seattle is supposed to have the worst "snow event" since 1985 today/tomorrow. So far... nada.

Meh, if it was catered there wouldn't be any vegan food anyway. :P I wouldn't mind ice skating garden gnomes, though.
Still not a flake where I am, but biker boy is watching it pile up at his house. I hate snow.

It's been raining a lot here. I wish I could trade weather for a day. It hasn't gotten cold here at all yet and I'm worried it's going to be another one of those jacket-less winters.

It was 4F this morning when I woke up and I was like "fork you!". At least it's in the twenties and sunny now? I really reaalllly want to move somewhere with no winter.

See, I HATE hot weather and cold (as long as it's not crazy cold...4 is pretty cold) weather I'm good with...that's why when the weather forecaster here talks about how it's gonna be in the 60's this weekend I get annoyed about how great she thinks that is. 60's would be great in May, but in January it's supposed to be at least moderately cold (like 20's to 40's). GEEZ! I really hate how it keeps getting cold (like 20's and sometimes less) for a few days, then suddenly it's back in the 60's...that is ANNOYING! Especially when the aforementioned weather person keeps talking about the cool days as being horrible and the warm days as being great. It also is confusing the heck out of some of my outside plants that are trying to come up.

I'm from upstate NY and the weather has been so freaking bizzare lately. After the 2ft of snow we got at the beginning of Jan it was like 30-40F for a few days and all that snow melted. Then we had another mini-snow storm that lasted 2 days. Then a bunch of mild 35 F ish temps for a few days. Then rain yesterday. Today we had massive rain and thunderstorms with severe winds and that turned into a severe snow storm after the sun went down. Expected to get 5-8 inches of snow in the next 36hrs.

I'm still not sure how I managed to make it home (on foot) after yoga last night... It felt exactly like those reenactments of doomed polar expeditions, with heavy blinding snow and high winds. At times I couldn't even see in front of me! What with the wind and the knee-high snowdrifts, I kept almost falling on my face at every step and gasping for breath like a fish.
I woke up at 3:30 because the wind is even worse, and I can't sleep at all when it blows — it makes me too nervous.
I bleeping HATE winter. I curse my ancestor many times each winter for ever leaving the nice, temperate region of France where he was born. What a complete moron.
Today I'll stay in my pajamas, make cup after cup of tea, and watch DVDs all day with my cat.

It's -30C here, -42C in the wind. This morning going to work, my hair froze to my eyelashes, which got stuck to the top of my scarf. When I got on the bus, the whole mess abruptly melted, causing my mascara to completely dissolve and run down my cheeks. I am actually looking forward to it being a comparatively balmy -15C this weekend!

Tornadoes in February? Okaaay... What the fork?!?
I'm supposed to be studying for a big exam, but instead I am watching the angry red storm blob on the local news's map. There have already been confirmed tornadoes a little west of here.
They say tornadoes sound like trains. Well, I live within earshot of multiple train tracks. So every time one goes by, I have a little moment of freak out.
This is way worse than my bearanoia.

It's MUGGY. It's March. I'm not supposed to get uncomfortably sticky walking across campus until at least April.

I ran track in the snow last night. It's practically March! And we're not really supposed to get snow here anyway!

My poor doggie has issued a severe weather advisory. The other animals totally don't care. I still can't concentrate on studying.
Another tornado warning for the area south-west of where I am. There's a guy that called in to the local weather and you can hear tornado sirens in the background.
Do not want!
ETA: the big angry storm is moving at 75 mph. Holy crepe.

After being cold and rainy, tomorrow it's supposed to be 75 and sunny. And I actually have the day off. I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of the beach!

My university's in Marquette, MI and we had a snow day yesterday! It also happened to be my busiest day and one that involved a test, which is now postponed until 2 weeks from now because of spring break. Ohhhh yeeeeah.
I heard it's pretty warm/mild in Chicago, and that makes me happy because I'm going back there next week.

This past week has been amazing. I've been able to run in just shorts and a t-shirt, and still get sweaty! This is Sweden we're talking about! In february/march!

I'm betting southern Sweden, though. We're having really nice weather here, too, but not shorts and t-shirt worthy. Highs of about 8C (47F) is still nice. The slush less so, but I'll take it. Reminds me I really need to start looking for a new jacket for spring (the zipper on my old one broke this autumn).
