Can you guys help me find a pink dress for a wedding? I am the maid of honor and I can wear whatever I want, except it has to fit (I'm like a 14) and I don't want a satiny bridesmade dress and I can't do a strapless. I feel like I looked everywhere on the internet. Then I found one this morning that was promising! Then it sold out of the larger sizes while I was deliberating. I want something retroish because I want to where a fancy hat. All the modcloth pink dresses are too small. Help!

Trashy Diva has this print, which I think is pretty cute... http://www.trashydiva.com/shop/1940-s-Dress-p38.htmlThey have a few different styles using the same print if you want a different shape or sleeve. Stop Staring also has some gorgeous dresses, but nothing that is really like the dress that you posted above.

Well now I am obsessed with this one, but it is on sale and no returns and I have NO IDEA what it would look like on my body. And I think 120 is too much to gamble with.

That's really pretty, I like the flowery one they have next to it in the plus sized list as well. If it's on sale anyway you might be able to resell without too much loss if it really looked bad on. It looks like it would be cute though!

That's so cute! Do you have any other dresses with a similar cut? You can always have it altered if there are little tweaks needed.
I know what you mean about hesitating to buy online without first trying on... Good luck!

I got my eShakti dresses today!
First impressions are that the fabric and quality are quite nice. Both dresses are lined seem to be well constructed in general.
I ordered both dresses to be "knee length" and they are a little shorter than I would normally like or consider to be knee length. I might order again, but I wouild order a longer length and have it hemmed if need be since I'd prefer the hemline to just barely cover my knee caps, these are definitely above.
Overall, what I recieved is very close to what was pictured and what I ordered, so no real complaints!

My outfit for today. It's a dress my sister gave me because she undergrew it with pieces I already had.

Deearess, you look great in that dress! The red is hot, you need to be wearing it on Valentine's Day! (If, of course, you like the idea of Valentine's day/wearing red for it..ahhaha! Otherwise, don't listen!) I also really like the dress you posted to show LazySmurf

Thanks, 1sgbg! I actually even have a solid red dress, but I don't wear dresses to the office much except really casual ones in summer. And I have no other plans for Valentine's as of now. But, I might just have to make an exception and wear one of the dresses to work!

That's the length of skirt that makes me happiest/most comfortable, too: covering at least the tops of my knees and the crease at the back of them. Do you think you'll be wearing tights sometimes, or will you rock your new dresses bare-legged? They're both such pretty dresses from the photos you posted :-) deearess, that dress is awesome!

I wore the birds on a wire dress on friday with stockings, and it helped me feel a little more comfortable. Also - I LOVED the pockets in the dress!! I think I will buy some tights (I usually wear stockings, but I'm open to tights) to wear with these dresses. I'm interested to make another eShakti purchase and see how I like it with a slightly longer hem.

This dress is on its way to me from eShakti! I had been looking at it for awhile and finally decided to go for it. I don't think I can get away with wearing it to work, but it'll be fun for weekends. Nicole, I was thisclose to getting the bird dress and then my friend beat me to it! It's so cute, though.

I was wondering the same thing. Ya know, LazySmurf, I think as long as they have the fabric, they'll make almost any cut in the fabric of your choosing. You just have to ask.

It is super cute! I know she doesn't want black though, it has to be a solid color
I think I have looked at so many pink dresses in the last few weeks that they have lost all meaning. I haven't even found one IRL that kind of fit.
But now she is bending on the pink thing! I might get yellow!

So pretty, LazySmurf! I love that this thread is now filled with pictures of pink dresses <3

Those are both really pretty. I especially like the style of the first one.
