Was walking down South the other day and saw a this place had a sign with "vegetarian" on it and I had never noticed it before. It's between 18th and 19th. Turns out is sorta new, and took over from a greasy spoon joint that was there. I grabbed a to-go menu. Some good options, and relatively cheap. They have a couple of veg breakfast sandwiches, veg-hoagies - "chicken" and "steak" and even a veg-meatball hoagie. They have soy cheese on the menu for one of the sandwiches, so presumably they could use it for any other, and they list veggie bacon and "our own" veggie sausage whatever that is.

Haven't actually tried it yet, but it's on my walking commute so when walking-weather returns I'll give it a whirl.

The place Citi Market on like 13th and Walnut has a similar sounding veg menu, however more than half the items aren't vegan. (the veg bacon, soy cheese etc). I am hoping this place is different, for your sake.

Yeah it's a good point, and it definitely could have slipped my mind. Especially in the morning. Plus, I'd have to walk past Govindas to get there. It's really hard to walk past Govindas.

I don't understand vegetarian places that don't accommodate vegans! It makes no sense.
