I just finished catching up with the current season of Dexter and now I am alone in my house and scared!
I feel so bad for Dexter and Astor and Cody. I hope that they move back in with him.
Quinn looks so weird this season.
Santa Muerte is eerie.
This season is good, but I don't think anything will compare to the first two seasons.

Dexter makes me so anxious! i'm curious to see how it all works out with julia stile's character.

The second season was ruined for me by the presence of little miss "pardon my tits."

Ugh, Lilah. Ugh ugh ugh.

I know, right? Especially since I have known way too many Lila Lites in real life.

I literally danced for joy at the season finale.

Yeah. My favorite seasons are definitely 1 and 3. I absolutely loathed season 2 because I was just so disgusted with Dexter and hated many of the storylines. And the whole Doakes thing.

Yes! I hated Lila. HATED her.

However, I also dislike Julia Stiles as an actress. Her neck is too stiff... sort of like a female Keanu Reaves, though not as untalented.
Anyway, it remains to be seen if I can look past that and enjoy her character. We shall see.

I think the season 2 finale was cause for celebration around the world. People wept with joy and danced on the streets.

I just watched the last episode, and so far Julia Stiles seems to be doing pretty well. But then again, I don't think I've ever actually watched anything she's been in, I've just been vaguely aware of her existence.

Oh, and I agree that Quinn looks weird. His head got too skinny or something, I don't know.

Quinn's lost weight, and I feel like the wardrobe department, at least for the first few episodes, hasn't bothered to change out his clothes for a smaller size. Either they're trying to hide the fact that he's skinnier and not as buff, or they didn't feel like it.

Also, Stiles is better than I expected, so that's encouraging. I'm soooo glad she wasn't a forking agent, as I assumed she would be when I heard she was going to be in this season. Is she going to be like, a little Dexter protege or something? It looked like, in the preview for next episode, that she was all rarin' to kill some peeps.

I've never minded Julia Stiles (10 Thing I Hate About You will always have a place in my heart), but I thought she was going to be an agent too, and am really glad she isn't. It would've been way too much like season 3.

I'm not reading anything because I'm still in Season 3, but <3.

Yeah, we're rewatching season 2 right now, and I hate Lilah so hard. She's one of my most hated TV characters of all time (but Mike likes her, inexplicably). And motherforking Doakes! I really didn't like how that season went down. I'm looking forward to getting on to season 3. Jimmy Smits!

Okay. I totally forgot that season 3 was the one with Jimmy Smits. I liked that one as well!

I wasn't a huge fan of season 3. Jimmy Smits is clearly rad, but when it all ended I just felt like they'd missed so many opportunities to make it awesome. There was such a focus on the Jimmy Smits relationship that I didn't really care about the actual bad guy, and that whole storyline just kind of fizzled out.

when is julia stiles going to dance? i swear she dances in every movie i've seen her in.

i agree that quinn looks terrible this season. maybe he's supposed to look like he's going crazy and never changes out of his blue shirt with the whole kyle butler thing?

Also, I miss motherforkin' Doakes as well. He was one of my faves.

I kind of felt the same way about season 3 for whatever reason I just could not get into it.

I say skip 3 and go straight to 4. Last season was amazing.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say the show peaked with number 4. They would have to pull some magic to beat the chemistry, excitement, and ultimate stab to the heart moment that happened last season.

Julia Stiles hasn't appeared in the UK yet, I think she might be in this weeks episode though. I am enjoying this season.

I'm not all the way caught up yet, but geeeez, Dexter is the show I hate to love. It makes me so anxious and worked up, yet I keep going back for more. It took me awhile to warm up to it, but now I am completely hooked.

Definitely another Lila hater here. I kind of hate the character of Dexter himself sometimes too, but I think that's probably kind of expected.

i'm actually a little surprised about all of the doakes love. i never really liked him, & i was relieved to see him die.

doakes was one of those characters i thought was too annoying to live, but then i was actually mad about the way they killed him.

This. He made me really angry but I was sad when he died. He was the best antagonist Dexter has butted heads with.
