Are there any PPKers in Santa Fe? I know Invictus is in Albuquerque...
I might be living there for a month or two and I would really like to know about vegan food, fun stuff, who will be my friend, etc!

There is good vegan food down here! We have a diner (Mint Tulip) and a Thai restaurant (Vegan Thai) that are 100% vegan! So come visit.
I haven't found much in Santa Fe. Annapurna's is a chain and the one down here is great so Santa Fe's is probably as well. Body Cafe is super great! I had a good meal at Tree House but I've only been there once.

Is it easy to take a train or bus to Albuquerque? I don't drive but I would want to visit for sure!

Overall, when you think Santa Fe, do you think, why that would be a cool place to live for a month or two, strawberryrock should totally take that opportunity! Or do you think, why would she leave Portland to live in Santa Fe? I honestly know nothing at all about it.

It's easy, there's a rail line between the two.
I think it would be very fun. Santa Fe has a decent farmer's market and artist's market. Georgia O'Keefe museum. Lots of history and hiking and rafting. Pretty much anything you like to do outside. It's right by some mountains. It's a different kind of beautiful than the NW, but New Mexico really is shockingly beautiful. My running partner and I remark on it all the time.
What brings you down here?

The family I nanny for is moving there and they want me to join them for the first month while they secure longterm childcare.

When would you be there? My son used to live in the area (Los Alamos) and will be moving back to Santa Fe in July. He does lots of vegan activism in DC, so I'm sure, even though he's lived there before, going back will be a bit of culture shock.
