I think what happened in the ending was:
Cop sees teenager using a wrench on a motorcycle, in the dark
Cop assumes teenager must be trying to steal motorcycle
Emmett, who isn't doing anything wrong, since it is his bike, doesn't assume that the cops think he is trying to steal the bike
Cops start shouting at Emmett, presumably telling him to drop the wrench and put his hands in the air
Emmett does not know what the cops are saying, and does not follow their orders because he cannot hear them
Cops misinterpret Emmett's "I'm deaf" gesture as a threat to attack them with the wrench

I predict that, next episode, Emmett's mom will now support him getting speech therapy, on the premise that if he could speak, it would help him in a situation like that in the future.

Yes either that or it does have to do with tagging with Bay and it drives Emmet and Bay further apart!

Yes, I looooooooove them together. I wanted to cry and hug Emmett when he was treated so badly by the cops.

So do we think that Angelo is bad news? I feel like he'll end up being a good guy (only because I want him to be)

I saw the tagging coming. I now think Bay will help get the $5,000 needed since the Bay and Emmet's mom thing needs to be cleared up. Maybe Angelo will help due to him having funds?

Yeah, I want Angelo to be a good guy too. I feel like there have just been so many opportunities for him to have some deep dark secret that reveal what a terrible person he is, and time and time again we learn that he's just a halfway-decent guy...at this point, it would really suck if he actually turns out to be a bad guy after all this.

I love Emmett and Bay. LOVE. The projector thing at the end was genius.

God, I am so sick of everyone being all over Daphne. Seriously. "Bay, it's all YOUR fault that Daphne basically stole five grand from us!" Mother said what?!
I think Bay's dad and Emmett's mom deserve one another. They're both really awful people. Bay's dad is constantly belittling his wife, children, and everyone around him. Emmett's mom is constantly belittling Bay (her son's girlfriend AND her best friend's daughter). She's so rude to Bay for absolutely no valid reason. I cheered when Emmett was all "You're crazy. I'm peace-ing out and living with dad."

I want Angelo to be good. Bay really needs someone who actually has an interest in her life.

I think Regina is more evil than Angelo at this point. Everything she does seems to conflict with good parenting skills. What ever happened to the grandma?

Yeah, that was an awesome move on Emmett's part. Yes, his mom was right to make him pay for his own fine instead of fixing it for him, but the way she's been treating him and especially the way she's been treating Bay is just so over-the-top...that was exactly the right way for Emmett to handle that situation.

Maybe the cupcakes were only $5 because the kids at that school would pay that price... or so she thought. I can't stand Bay's dad either. I hope the rookie lawyer will work out.

I always say this, but could Emmett be more adorable? Whenever I see him, I have the same reaction that I have when I see a super cute kitten or puppy

She wasn't born deaf -- she is hearing impaired but developed it later in life so that probably explains it. ;)

Ya - I have heard her talk before, she does voice act to play Daphne.

I was wondering where grandma went. I think it was a stupid move to call the cops on the dad. It just brings more drama in the long run. I like Emmet's dad and his gf more than Emmet's mom but if I was ay I would be totally uncomfortable.
