Does anyone know of a good place to get breakfast, power, protein type vegan smoothies in Rittenhouse? I there is Amazon Cafe in the Bellevue food court. But I'm not sure they open early enough and I'm not sure how much I trust their smoothies.

I feel like this is a niche in Philly that is missing!

The Pita Pit had some options, but they closed. And there was that place in the shops at liberty food court, but they closed too.

I think Pure Fare has a few types of juices/smoothies but they are expensive. And I don't know when they open.

There's that juice bar at the Market at Comcast Center where you can do almost anything, but I don't know if they have protein powder. Or Raindrop Cafe at 19th & Market.

Enerjuicer is a short distance away from Rittenhouse Square in Suburban Station. Although located in the Reading Terminal, Four Seasons Juice Bar is possibly my favorite place to get fresh squeezed juice in Philly.

Why did this happen? They were always packed at lunchtime...

I know, right! I walked passed last week and it was no longer. It was shocking.

So we are really lacking a great healthy snack/juice/smootie bar in this city. This is not good. Im gonna have to take a blender and supplies to work with me. The reason I was looking is because I am starting to workout with a friend a few days a week at 7am. So I dont want to eat breakfast beforehand. And I want something high protein for after the workout.

The other I was thinking is to get Starbucks to make me a base of soymilk, ice, and a banana. They would probably let me give them my own protein powder to mix in. I know the crew at my Starbucks, but this option is pricey.

Gracia, I usually make too much green smoothie so I freeze a big glassful. Then on a day when I don't have time to make it in the morning, I can let the frozen one defrost for a few hours and it does the job. It's not as good as a freshly made one (it can be ice-chippy) but it would probably work if you take a travel cup full with you at 7am and have it at work?

Gracia, you can make a green smoothie the night before and stick it in the fridge until you leave the house in the morning. I do this sometimes when I have to be at work super early. It's totally still good.

ALSO!!! WORD ON THE VEGAN STREET is that there is going to be an all vegan juice bar on 12th and Spruce coming in March (?) I believe. I don't know the name, but the girl at Blackbird told me about it today. It's only a couple blocks from Rittenhouse and is totally feasible to get to!

Another potential option - Fuel on 12th and Walnut...also not technically Rittenhouse, but close enough..

We've been hearing about that juice bar for the longest time. It's run by the people behind Catalyst Cleanse.
