Beer lovers rejoice: SF Beer Week is coming up- February 10th -19th! There are tons of events going on in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area. I hope to attend quite a few, depending on my schedule. Anyone plan on hitting up some of the celebrations? Here's the schedule: http://sfbeerweek.org/schedule

I want to go to things, but I haven't looked at the schedule really yet. We should get a PPK group together for one (or more) of the events!

Booo!
Everyone who's interested, go take a look at the schedule and post the events you'd like to attend and are available for.
Here's my list: Healthy Spirits Bottle Release - Sat, Feb. 11 @ Healthy Spirits (15th and Castro). 11:00 am "We will be releasing our second exclusive barrel aged beer. "Someone Talked" is a collaboration between Healthy Spirits, Ale Industries and Blue Bottle Coffee. We gave Ale Industries our hand selected Elijah Craig 18 barrel, which they filled with imperial stout brewed with fresh roasted coffee beans from Blue Bottle. Small release."
Bear Republic Racer X Release - Feb. 11 @ Bear Republic Brewery in Healdsburg, 11:30 - 9:00. "Bear Republic Brewing Company announces the elusive Racer X™ Double IPA will be released in 22oz. bottles during San Francisco Beer Week, 2/10 – 2/19. The beer will be available exclusively @ Bear Republic’s brewpub, followed by a limited Bay Area only release. Racer X™ will be released nationally in October 2012.
Triple Voodoo Night at Rosamunde in the Mission - Feb. 11 6:00 - 9:00 "Triple Voodoo takes over the Rosamunde taps. Taste a new release plus some of your favorites from San Francisco's own Triple Voodoo Brewing. "Grilled sausage and Triple Voodoo, a great combination."
um... I'll go to just about anything, actually, so I'll let someone else make some suggestions!

I've been super busy lately but I'd like to try and make it to something! I'm definitely interested in the event at Rosamunde. I've never had anything by triple voodoo but I have been craving vegan sausage.

Triple Voodoo @ Rosamunde sounds great. I think I'll aim for that one as well.
Others I think I'm going to try and hit up:
-Speakeasy Brewery Happy Hour at The Sycamore: Sunday, Feb. 12 3:00pm – 7:00pm "Featuring a lineup of rare single-batch beers brewed especially for SF Beer Week! "
-Meet The Brewer from Firestone Walker @ The Republic (3213 Scott st.): Monday, Feb. 13 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Admission: $10.00 "David Walker comes to the Republic for a wonderful seminar and tasting pouring some of Firestone Walker's best brews!! The flight is only $10 and the runs from 6:30 - 8:30."
-Beer is Love w/ Ninkasi Brewing @ Zeitgeist (199 Valencia):Tuesday, Feb. 14 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm "Come join us and Ninkasi Brewing Co-Founder Jamie Floyd introduce a new beer while enjoying some of their signature and flagship beers. Get your heart on! It is Valentine's Day after all..."
-The Old and The Beertiful @Social Kitchen & Brewery (1326 9th Ave.): Wednesday, Feb. 15 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm "Taste the bold, the old, and the strange: Year-Aged Imperial Common 2011: SF Brewers Guild bourbon-barrel-aged collaboration Black Thai Affair: SKB's White Thai Affair w/kaffir lime leaf & roasted malts Licorice Liquidator: SKB's Liquidator Doppelbock w/licorice root & sarsaparilla 4PM-6PM only: Barrel samples of 6-month-old sour red"
-Green Flash Brewing night @Rosamunde Sausage Grill (2832 MISSION ST):Wednesday, Feb. 15 5:00 pm "Green Flash will be taking over several taps showcasing their diverse styles. West Coast IPA, Double Stout Black Ale, Hop Head Red, Le Freak belgian triple IPA and more!"
-Evening with Deschutes Brewery @Pi Bar (1432 Valencia): Thursday, Feb. 16 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm "Pi Bar will be tapping many rare and limited releases from the brewery."
-Ballast Point Tap Takeover @Public House(24 Willie Mays Plaza): Thursday, Feb. 16 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm "An evening showcasing 16 beers on tap from Ballast Point including some rare barrel aged, sour, nitro and cask selections."
Also I spoke with some of the peeps at City Beer (1168 Folsom St) and though it isn't yet listed on the schedule of SF Beer Week they should be doing a sour tasting in the evening on Sunday Feb. 12th
Ahhh soooo much to do/drink.

If anyone is interested there's a Russian River release at Pi Bar (1432 Valencia St). Doors open at 3:14pm, but there will likely be a line forming earlier.
