I've only seen two episodes so far. My review: Cancer is awesome! Homelessness is voluntary and quirky! Fat people should be paid to lose weight!

Does it get better? I'm still going to watch it I think.

YES! It does get better! I think for me there are so many elements in the show. The pilot kinda blows compared to how it is now. There are some great characters and the relationship she has with her brother is pretty funny...and sometimes uncomfortable.

Plus, I have to watch because of Idris Elba. Dude is fine as hell!

Well Laura Linney and Oliver Platt = love. So I am gonna stick it out! Plus I trust your judgment.

When they first started advertising it, I couldn't understand that 'The Big C' was Cancer. I just thought they were calling Laura Linney a croissant.

I saw an interview where she was saying the original title was "The C-Word," because I guess people live under a rock and didn't realize it was strikingly similar to another Showtime hit. Haha.

I second that. Saw him in Obsessed (?Obsession - movie) and thought, "Who is that hottie"??

its really a great show. I like her brother's character a lot because he's such a crasshole. And uh yeah I will pretty much watch anything featuring Idris Elba for sure.

I agree with everything in this statement. Especially that last part.

Oh you guys, did you see the finale yet? Once again another beautiful Sia song gets used to make an emotional ending.

Ok, so we have finally had the season finale in the UK. And I know that I totally jet-lagged and forked from having woken up at 2am this morning and I shouldn't have watched the last 2 back to back but fork, I thought I was going to cry up a lung and I really do not cry at TV or film very often.

They just managed to make everyone so believable and also:

Spoiler: show
I am really, really sad about Marlene

Mat.

God yes! Such a change in his character, he was so convincing, it was so sad.

I love the series, I nearly wet my self laughing at Marlene telling Sean to stop cork blocking her, too funny! Phyllis Somerville is so strikingly beautiful, I wish I looked that good now!

Does anyone know when the next season starts? The only thing I did over my break this past winter is watch this show and I really enjoyed it!

I'm assuming it's coming back in July or August again.
