I never looked in the old Living Room to see if there was a Boardwalk Empire thread. If so, continue here! I barely watch any tv but I have gotten into BE. Anyone else?

I'm watching it! Steve Buscemi bores me to tears but I looooooove Michael Pitt. I think the set design is really fantastic and the story is interesting enough so far. I'm excited to see where it goes...

This show has a lot of promise, I think. Kelly Macdonald is one of my favorite actresses. It's going to take them a while to really get the characters going, but have a lot of hope.

I've heard it's only supposed to be a season or something though? That's not enough time to delve into everyone like they should.

I like it much more than I thought I would. I started off watching because a friend was really excited about it, and I ended up getting hooked too. I didn't realize there was only going to be one season. It figures that I finally find a new show I like, and it's short term.

I read that it was picked up for a second season. I watch because Mr. LL watches True Blood with me. Sunday night seems to be the only time slot when we are on the couch together. I am getting into it, though. I like Kelly McDonald, the sets, most of the dialogue, and the pace. Agent Van Alden creeps me out.

My roommate and I have gotten into it. It's so visually stunning, the details in it really appeal to me.
It took a while for the story to get interesting, but now I'm so glad we have it on OnDemand, we watch it every week.
Glad to hear about the second season!

I'm attracted to Nucky's characther. Can't tell you how embarrasingly happy I was at the end of the last episode.
Boardwalk Empire has temporarily eased my transition away from Ture Blood. I'm pleased!

I love this show. I am also strangely attracted to Nucky/Steve Buscemi. I wonder what will happen with Margaret and Nucky!

I love it, but have to watch it in chunks every few weeks at my parents' house via on demand. They pretty much had me at "1920's."

I can't decide how I feel about Margaret/Nucky. It was exciting that they went there, but is he really interested in her, or is he just trying to keep her quiet? Both?

He gave her the cold shoulder why? Because he doesn't want to get involved with her? Because of his girlfriend or because of political reasons? I think he's attracted to her...so I'm going for both.

I'm still curious what the inspectors deal is as he seemed kind of obsessed a show or two ago but they didn't bring it up at all in the last episode.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, with him smelling her hair ribbon! Creepy.

I liked last night's a lot, up until the end- I did not need to end my Sunday night watching Van Alden whip himself jerkoffingly. Eww.

I totally forgot about this show. My father and I watched like 4 episodes one day and got into it. It is really slow though which is a bummer

Holy moly! It's getting juicy!
I really hate Nucky's girlfriend. It annoys me that she has obvious (to me) breast implants in a period piece like this.

My cousin is the set designer for the show! I haven't been able to watch it yet but I'm getting HBO so that I can.
