I do know that he bought the company in 2002, so maybe he oversaw a switch in formulas? They may have made a change, but this was no more than 3-4 years ago.

I haven't tried any of these (I want to order samples eventually), but I emailed MCMC a while back, and they're all vegan. Which isn't too surprising since it's a little company, but still good to know!

I have Lycheerous - it smells good but the scent fades fast! Thank you! I'll try this one, but now with no false expectations.

I adore Pacifica's Tuscan Blood Orange scent. I have the solid perfume, roll-on perfume, tinted lip balm, and shower gel. I'd probably get more if I'd have the money so I could smell like blood orange, raspberry, and strawberry all ze time.
Issey Miyake, MCMC, and Lavanila intrigue me! Must hunt down in stores.

I'm guessing/assuming the L'occitane perfumes are vegan.

Does anyone know if Marc Jacobs or Viktor & Rolf scents are vegan friendly? Yesterday I tried Daisy and Flowerbomb and kinda fell in love. I would also like to share a delightful gem. http://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetanthemAll vegan perfumes, beautiful scents, and the sweetest seller! My favourites are Tara for women and Peter and Elliott for men. Truly delightful. The packaging is perfection as well. And no, I don't work for her.

I think Marc Jacobs tests, unfortunately. Or I think they did in 2006, when I last checked (giving up that perfume- the original scent- was harder than giving up any non-vegan food!).
Thanks for that etsy link, I love testing new perfumes!

it's not a big name or anything, but when i do wear perfume i wear firebird bath & body's honey perfume and i've always gotten compliments on it. it's cheap, lasts a long time, and has no funky ingredients.

I've actually just registered so I can reply to you! :) Issey Miyake is the only perfume I've ever really liked and used, but since they've never gotten back to my e-mail, I assumed it wasn't vegan and stopped using about 5 years ago. I've missed it more than cheese :))))) Thanks, you've probably made my whole week! xx indexandicon wrote: Yay! I finally got a response and my beloved is a-okay! Lately I have been wearing a fruity number by Love and Toast called Sugar Grapefruit. It is not really strong but it smells nice and clean!

Where can you buy Demeter fragrances? Is it only available online? I thought I remembered seeing it somewhere years ago. I've been looking at the Demeter site and there are so many I want to smell!

They used to sell Demeter at Ulta, but at least mine doesn't carry them anymore. Sometimes they have 3 or 4 scents at Walgreens or CVS, but I have no idea where to find the full line. Which sucks because there are a ton I want to smell too.

I'll have to look at my Ulta next time. I always make a beeline for the polish and don't even glance at anything else. I pretty much want to smell EVERY Demeter scent except earthworms. Barf! I feel crawly just seeing the name.

I am sad to say, that Stella McCartney fragrances are owned by the evil L'Oreal :-( KMI Brands are a cruelty-free company who operate to a fixed cut-off date regarding ingredients and perform no animal testing on finished products either. They produce the Ted Baker fragrance range, which is 100% vegan. I am currently exploring the cruelty-free, vegan Gorrilla Perfume range by Lush Cosmetics. They smell awful in the bottles as they are super-concentrated - you need to put them on your skin in order for them to work their magic. My current favourite is Sikkim Girls - yum!

Does anyone know if Gigantic Parfums animal test or if they are owned by a company that does? I'm having no luck with google!
