The person who sent me the stuff from Tesco said it was being rolled out all this week, so don't give up hope!

Why not simply ignore the thread then?

I have two big Tesco Extras near me and only one had it in stock. Customer service (using that term lightly as my experience was not dissimilar to Amy's) at the one lacking said it could be in last night's delivery so to check again today.

I think I'm going to go to tesco after work and see what they have. It's a pretty massive tesco so they should have something.

Hopefully they will put it out later this week then because I assumed they would have at least some of the new stuff.

Has anyone tried the cheese yet? I am really interested to know what it tastes like.

I saw the soy milk at the big store here, couldn't see anything else though, don't know if they had it in a separate fridge.

That's my store!! I'm checking it later today and I will report back, either with glee or with tears. Either way it'll be a party.

No luck :( Instead I made "hummus" with pretty much 1/2 cup of nooch and am pretending it's the cheese spread

You could go to Whole Foods & buy the Sheese cheese spread. The packaging & flavours are the same so I'm pretty sure they're the same stuff.

They aren't quite the same as the Tesco one uses coconut oil not veg oil but they'll be pretty similar.

I haven't ever tried the plain one (either version) but I tried the cheddar one years ago and it was pretty much the most horrid thing
I've ever put in my mouth. It's one of only 3 specifically vegan products I've actually put in the bin rather than eat up somehow.

None in my local store either. Maybe they have not made across the Irish sea yet?

I'm not the hugest fan of the plain Sheese spread or the cheddar but I really like the garlic & herb.

They're not in the branches I popped my head into today for a random looksee (I've not shopped in any supermarkets for quite a while and refuse to shop in the wee Express store that opened across the road from my flat a few months ago as the local indep stores have the same stuff and I don't want to see them go out of business), but we don't have Tesco stores much bigger than your average newsagent in Zone 1. I would imagine the huge Silverburn one might stock such things what with it being the biggest branch in the country, but I'm not willing to pay the extra bus fares out there to find out unless I have 100% confirmation! I'm waiting on a call-back just now from customer services to find out.

None in Bethnal Green or Hackney either. Though they said that they get new products a bit later than the superstores so it might show up sometime soon.

My tesco had everything. I got cheddar spread, mild cheese and creme caramel. the cheese definitely tastes like sheese but its not actually as vile as I remember. Not great but passable.

Had the medium cheese melted on nachos this evening (after pancakes, natch). OMLGG, that is dirty food. Loved it.

I have to admit, I thought the creme caramel was a bit weird. I felt like I shouldn't have been able to slice it.

I went during work, so I'll go tomorrow night after work and get some other stuff. I'm looking forward to melty cheese! And I want to try that chocolate coconut milk.

As I was just eating a creme caramel I remembered that they were something I never liked, pregan! Anyway, they're ok but damn they're soooo sweet.

I can live without these.

The dessert shakes are good, but the packaging sucks balls. They're super fiddly. And shockingly, I like the vanilla more than the chocolate. The chocolate is a bit too much like Alpro chocolate milk, which I find has way too much cocoa powder.

The chocolate coconut milk is pretty good - thicker than most of the chocolate milks but not as cocoa powdery.

The cheddar cheese worked well in tacos. I'll have to do something with the other cheese next. I bought it but have no idea what to do with it. Maybe a toastie.

I had the chocolate coconut milk hot this evening with a large glug of rum. Oh my bloody god.

YES! That's what I was thinking when I drank it - it's good, but it would be 100x better hot. It would make amazing hot chocolate.

Yes to those dessert shakes. I'm not going to apologise for this sentence, but it doesn't matter how hard you suck, you still feel you haven't quite got it all.

Exactly. I just had one, and I threw out the package feeling like I'd only had half of it. Maybe the packaging is heavier than it looks, but I also think it's because I just didn't get it all.

The white one is "mild" (melty, I think - it has pizza on the front) and the cheddar is orange (with nachos on the front). TBH I'm not sure it's actually called cheddar (since the other is just called mild), but that's the impression I got from the colour and flavour.

I had the soy milk on my cereal this morning. It just tasted like soy milk. I didn't think it tasted any different than Alpro fresh.
