I'm going to Reykjavik for about 4 days in March for a pre-birthday trip. I've already printed a couple pages off Happy Cow but does anyone know of any places I should check out?

When I was there it was windy and wet and cold, and I drank (amazing) soy lattes in cafes on the main street. It was like being back on Cuba St in Wellington!

Let us know how your trip goes! My friends went to Iceland for their honeymoon this past summer and they loved it and made me want to go so much. But they repeatedly said, "Vegans would have a really hard time there." Just not a lot of produce from what I understand. If you manage to fare okay, I might check in to heading there myself... good luck!

I've been twice and really enjoyed it. There are a couple veggie restaurants that serve plenty of vegan food. Everything is more expensive though.

I'm going on a Northern Lights tour! Excite! Hope I effing see them cos paying for the trip nearly wiped me out (No thanks to Expedia for charging me twice for my fare)! And if I don't, I'll troll the innerwebs for a picture and photoshop my face into it looking pleased with myself.
