I didn't know she's vegan. We accept you! One of us. Don't know if there's many Trek fans in this thread, but word is Leonard Nimoy is going to be on Big Bang Theory. As Spock! Kinda. http://www.startrek.com/article/spock-s ... ang-theory

I found out last week while watching a clip of his Letterman interview. I was even more shocked to learn he was a heavy smoker for years. I never knew that either. I'm going to miss the show until next season. It was a great finale though. I loved how they all got ordained and married Howard and Bernadette. So cute. And Amy and her bridesmaid gown!!

If you're going to NYC this summer you can see him in Harvey on Broadway! (And it's a Roundabout show which is the best ever bc they do $21 tickets for everyone under 35 I think.)

It's going to be a long wait till next season...I did love the finale, though. Just wish I got to see Wolowitz in space more.

So who watched last night's episode? I'm really loving Sheldon and Amy's relationship. Amy is just forking hilarious. I was really hoping Mayim would've won an Emmy for her performance. She deserves it. Also shocked that Jon Cryer won over Jim Parsons.
I don't know how I feel about the direction they are moving with Raj. I expected it, yet I didn't. It will be interesting to see what exactly develops though.

I watched last night. I was expecting Leonard and Penny to be broken up or engaged. The whole bit with Howard getting phone calls from his mom is space was hysterical. And poor Raj, I hope they give him a partner soon.

Did anyone watch last night? Am I the only one really bothered by the whole Sheldon thinking an appropriate punishment for Amy was spanking? What the fork, people? First of all, I don't think anyone should be spanking anyone. (At least not in a punishment way. If that's your thing, then go for it.) Second of all, I don't think grown people should be punishing each other. That whole dynamic of Sheldon feeling like he should be in a position to correct Amy's bad behavior was just offensive. But for goodness sake, no grown person should ever be punishing another grown person by spanking under any circumstances. I don't care that it was to set up a bit about Amy liking it because she craves the physical contact. The bit was just gross.

Um I thought it was funny and fit with the theme of Sheldon not understanding normal human behavior and needs. Pretty typical Big Bang to me.

I've got to admit I was a bit taken aback by that whole spanking scenario. I can see how it represented Sheldon's lack of understanding of normal behavior but at the same time I did feel like it was somewhat inappropriate. I just think they went about the whole thing the wrong way and that they could've set up that scene very differently .
Of course I really could have been totally fine with them removing that disgustingly awful fish scene also. Other than those two things I thought the episode was hilarious as usual.

I read this first, so I was going in trying to see it in the inappropriate way, but, honestly, I didn't at all. It's weird, but Sheldon's an oddball. They sat down together and decided together. There wasn't any powerplay. They just thought of it differently. Mostly it makes me sad that Amy puts up with him.

I'm way way behind on this show but I'm bumping this thread because I'm catching up and I've just finished series 5.
Amy's reaction to Sheldon buying her a tiara is my second favourite moment in this show ever, I love her!
My favourite bit will always be Sheldon & Leonard in the ball pit... Bazinga! Bazinga! Bazinga!....

My favorite is when Howard confesses to Bernardette catching doing the "nasty" online with Lucinda the Troll under the Bridge of Sighs. And he does not understand why she should be so upset about it, since Lucinda could very well have been the janitor in school...
