What nail polish are you wearing?

Wet n Wild Teal of Fortune. I just got a huge chip on my left middle finger... I really wish nail polish would last longer than two days on me. I didn't use a topcoat because I can't decide which one to get.

Yeah, I'd test this first since its $28.

I can't wait to see Diwali. It better be a normal priced one.

The kids liked/commented on my nail polish today, which was perfect since we just started minerals so I had the girls rummaging in their purses to find minerals in their makeup. The boys rolled thir eyes at firs, then got into it and had fun. They all know mica now!

Cool! I am always looking at the polish worn by characters in tv shows. Last ep of Cougar Town, Laurie had a really bright skittles mani and Busy tweeted that she gets to choose most of Laurie's looks <3

I've started doing this thing where I think about my friends and how I'd do their nails and that gives me cool fresh ideas for how to do mine. Like the last gray sparkly franken that I posted (thanks to those who had complimented it!) was inspired by my friend Emily. I'm going to do Jem and the Holograms inspired manicures too.

I got Zoya Kimmy when they did their free reds, and I also picked up Tru and Chloe. I've been wearing Chloe over Tru this week and it's fabulous. this picture doesn't really do it justice.

My NOTD!

Zoya's Parveen wasn't working with my skin tone, so I topped it with two coats of OPI's DS Shimmer (unfortunately this was discontinued long ago, but you can find it on Ebay probably). Shimmer is awesome, because it's a linear holographic top coat. I had trouble photographing its linear nature though.

Sooo, I really liked this manicure, but while cooking, I burned my fingernail and lost part of it. The polish on the finger is singed and looks like maybe it fused to my nail or something. Grr :(

This is so pretty! And to continue with the Jem theme...I'm wearing Zoya Jem right now! I did one accent nail with Maisie and promply messed that one up.

Thanks, Fupa. Luckily, it was painless since I only burned the nail. I couldn't be happier about the fact that there are no nerve endings in our nails!

Here is my first Jem and the Holograms franken.

This was just a test-run. I think it probably needs to be a brighter pink and I might make the formula more translucent. The shimmer is what dulled it (I had the PERFECT pink too grr). Please excuse the messiness. I was impatient and wanted to get it on my finger!

I call it "Showtime Synergy!"
