The Tesco one is much less vanilla-y, way better than the Alpro/Provamel (I've used it as a sour cream sub even). What happened to Sojade? I can't find it anywhere locally now.

I think it is still around, just the shop I used to get it at closed down.

I got the Hazelnut milk today. It's ok on cereal. I bet it would be great in coffee.

I really like the Tesco yogurt, guys! This is so great for me because I tend to really dislike the taste of soymilks/cheese/yogurts/anything but it was nice and creamy and I can see how it could definitely be used as a sour cream sub (good idea!)

I need to find this yogurt. Waitrose was out of plain AND vanilla Alpro today. Forking sucked.

Oh no, scheeze, really? Our Tesco sold Cheezly up until about a fortnight ago when it 'mysteriously disappeared' off our shelves... I'll be gutted if that's what it's been replaced with.
Our local extra store had none of the stuff. Will keep checking...

Also, Sojade are still going! We have it all the time!

I went to my local, very small Tesco and they only had the soya milk, and when I asked they suggested I try the big Tesco extra on the other side of town. Drove there today only to find they had NOTHING other than the milk. I was far from amused, and ended up buying a dress and pair of jeans rather than anything food wise.

I am going to write and express my dismay that the biggest store in my area isn't carrying these products, especially when they are advertised on their website! My wait goes on.

Also realised I'd got my cremes confused - had been hoping for brulee, and got caramel instead. It was alright. But nothing spectacular.

Cheese was also a disappointment. Do they think vegans taste buds die after consuming a certain number of chickpeas?

Still need to crack open the jellies, yoghurts, chocoate desserts, spreads and milks.

So far my conclusion is hurray for emergency food stuffs, but regular items on thhe shopping list they shalln
't be.

I'm eating a chocolate dessert right now. They're more liquid than Alpro, and they have a strong cocoa powder taste (like the dessert shakes). Good in a pinch, but I'm not terribly impressed. I'll buy Alpro if I need something like this.

BTW, my Tesco now has the whole range on offer, looks to be about half price. I wish I'd waited to buy stuff!

I had some of the sheesey spread in pasta last night. Not nearly as bad as I remember it being, it was actually pretty decent (with lots of nooch added).

I don't think I'd buy it often, but now and again it's ok.

Damn, my local Tesco is not on the list.

Was that the white soft cheese sub or one of the other ones? I had the soft cheese on bread yesterday, and it was much better than the Sheese one. I think it was less sweet. I still prefer Tofutti when it's the main flavour (e.g., on a bagel), but at least I know I have options if I need a cream cheese sub for cooking/baking.

Fallen in love with the hazelnut milk. I think I could bathe in it.

I think it was cheddary spread? I could be wrong but it definitely has a cheesier taste than tofutti and it isn't sweet.

The milks are alpro. They just sent me some and it was in an Alpro box. The first box of stuff was Kerry, second box Bute, third box Alpro.

Balls. I just bought the almond milk hoping it would be different (i.e., taste less like salted almonds) than the Alpro one. Oh well. I can just make hot chocolate with it.

Boo no stores this side of the Irish Sea stocking it. Thumbs down again Tesco.

I have emailed to ask if my local tiny Tesco can stock a few bits. They have about twelve different kinds of butter and margarine, surely they can fit one Vegan alternative in there?

Yep, same as the Alpro. Boo-urns.

ETA - Who came up with the idea to roast the almonds? "Everyone likes a salty beverage!"
