Hey dudes. A pal of mine found a stray pitbull who is going to be euthanized if they can't find his owner tomorrow. So sad! He's currently at Oakland animal shelter and needs to he fostered or adopted asap. I'm way up in Canadialand and don't know anyone else down there, so I thought I'd make a post here for you lovely people. My friend says he's a real sweetie and seems to have been well taken care of. She can't take him in because of pet restrictions in her building, but is willing to help out with any costs. If anyone is able to help this guy out, get at me and I can connect you with my friend for more info.

Ugh - I wish I'd seen this sooner. I can't foster a dog, but there are a lot of rescues in the area that will scoop up dogs who are going to be put down. If there's still time, contact the folks at www.coppersdream.org and see what they recommend. They rescue dogs from shelters.
