What a wonderful interview and I love the beautiful samples of your work.
I especially appreciate this quote because I sort of think this to myself about the creative process all the time: "Most of all, I think the best inspiration comes from the process of just doing the work and making mistakes."
It's amazing sometimes how something that isn't working one way just needs to be taken into a different direction to fall into place.

Thank you! You can apply that same philosophy to cooking as well, can't you? Experiments gone awry can turn into brilliant new discoveries!

Congrats on the interview!!! It in itself was inspiring as is your wonderful and talented work.
I agree in keeping with your own artistic identity while being inspired by everything around you and making it your own. I myself have come up with ideas for artistic projects from sources that are no longer reflected in their current state of completion after they have been twisted and contorted and revamped a few or a zillion times in my mind. This is what makes the process so fun for me.
I really enjoyed viewing your work and would love to see what else you creatively conjure up in the future.

This is awesome! I really wanted to go to the next Finders Keepers too, but we'll be driving back here from Adelaide the weekend before, so we might not be up for another road trip quite so soon. We'll see!
