baps, on the concealer, you might try Une which is available is some Superdrugs. I have some of theirs but haven't used it yet (heh...new baby creates new priorities), but I love their other stuff. It's mostly all vegan too.

Soap and glory posted a vegan list at long last! It doesn't seem to include the make up range, but quite a lot of it is good to go! http://www.soapandglory.com/faqs/#faq19May or may not be off to Boots later! From what I read on the ingredient labels of the make up, it seems to be okay but please don't take my word for it! The mascara had synthetic beeswax, which is usually the big nasty and none of the other things had any obvious carmine... Again, I'm not an expert though!

They were on a don't buy list because of their testing policy being unclear I think.
I just checked the website and they say they don't test their formulations but don't state that they don't test their ingredients. (They do say that all ingredients may at some point have been animal tested, which is true for every brand, so that would seem to say they don't test their ingredients.)
I'm sure they're ok but I wish they'd word it better.

Where do you get hair dye? Are there any stores in London (not online) that carries this? I've thought about Henna, but I'm a bit scared of trying that stuff.

Have they changed it recently? The last time I looked at the Superdrug stuff, it didn't say it was suitable for vegans.
I'm trying to go back to my natural colour, but I use Herbatint (I think), which I've found at most hfs.

There's a couple of different kinds - there's one that says suitable for vegetarians, and that's because of the ingredients in the after-colour conditioner, and a couple that say suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Worked like a charm with the superdrug own brand hair dye and I really needed it, my roots were like 4 cm. Superblond hair + dark eyebrows is not nice, I wish I was just born with brown hair.

Wow thanks so much for the superdrug heads up in this thread- I went in today and bought 30 quids worth of body creams and shampoo etc. Then I had to head out before I bought any more - talk about a kid in a toy shop!
Now I read about sensitive toothpaste! I bought some new specs today and I have to pick them up next week. Superdrug is really near to the spec shop...... :o)

I really the Superdrug Essesntial cucumber facial wipes.
I got some Lush foundation stuff the other day, you can use it on its own or mix with moisturiser. I'm not a big foundation expert at all and I've only used it once but I reall liked it.
Edit to add shiitake, I just looked at their website to see what they're called and the colour I got isn't vegan. It doesn't say on the pots, just the sign which said vegan and all the others are. Balls.

It's a shame because it's one of the palest foundations/tinted moisturisers I can find.

I have one of those Lush 'colour supplements' (light pink). I have mixed feelings about it. To begin with I didn't like it at all because it separated on my eye lids and looked funny. I now mix it with my moisturisers for a vague tint but not enough to consider it a foundation, more to make my skin look slightly brighter on days when I'm knackered.
Tell me about your favourite eye creams. I've struggled to find one I like since going vegan. Not too expensive, avoiding parabens and sulfates if possible.

I like Ginzing or whatever it's called from Origins. I'm on their mailing list and I only order when there's an offer on or a free gift I want. They're pretty good about giving samples if you can get to a counter though.

And it's actually not bad either!) They have a collection of Love Heart lip balms & nail polishes!! I'll attempt to read the ingredient list later...is there anything non-obvious I should be looking out for? I love that they're being transparent about their ingredients but I wish they'd slap some V's on things!
