Anything neat/fun to do in the area? I'd like to make the trek to get doughnuts but not sure what to do afterwards on my upcoming visit...

I still haven't been to the store, so I'm not helpful, sorry.
But! I went to Lula's yesterday and they had doughnut ice cream. Lula's ice cream with pieces of Dun-Well doughnuts in it! I died.

Sorry guys, I can't really speak to that - I've only ever gone there to get doughnuts. I will say, though, that it's only a couple stops from W'burg on the L train (it's also easily walkable - about 10 minutes). Hopefully that's some help?

Pine Box Rock Shop (the vegan bar) looks like it's only a short walk from Dun-Well, though it's in the opposite direction of most of the other vegan-friendly stuff (east instead of west).

it's like 5 steps from the montrose L train, and one stop, or like 7 minute walk to pineboxrockshop which is right outside the morgan L train stop and in the few block radius of the stop there is a really amazing nice sushi place,Momo Shushi Shack, that has a whole vegan menu of sushi rolls and vegan gyozas and tempura and stuff with matcha salt and really crazy tofu salad and seaweed salad, and next to that around the corner is Roberta's which is always crazy busy and kinna $$ but they have pizza without cheese and really good wine and olives, and i know some vegans who go there often even though there isn't much vegan food. also, on waterbury street, closer to the montrose L there's a place that used to be called Yummus Hummus, but now is called Newtown, i think, and they have a lot of vegan options, i remember i had a salad with shittake bacon in it, and the hummus is really good still, and umm, yeah your really close to williamsburg still so if you walk like 10 or 15 minutes you'll be near the bedford L train where there's plenty of crepe to do and eat and buy. or you can comeover to my house and hangout with me and like 46 plants.one of the succulents just bloomed like 6 little flowers.

I have to say, as much as I love those freakin awesome donuts, I'm now a little more excited that it looks like this is the closest vegan ice cream option to my house (I'm sorta near both the Morgan and Jefferson Ls.)

I finally went! I walked there from the Vaute Couture store, so I felt I'd earned my three delicious doughnuts.
I have to be in Williamburg again this Sunday, so with luck, I'll start at VC, walk to Pine Box Rock Shop for the Vegan Shop Up, then Dun Well, then Food Not Bombs. Oy.
