I am having the cramps from forking hell. I am also not home and am also having concurrent asparagus pee. I had my cup in a ziploc in my carry on so I could pop it in when I needed it. Got off the plane used the loo, immediately got my period, realized I lost my cup, ran back to the plane - that was still there, found my cup and of course curious crew members are all like what did you lose!

Started my period today and kind of totally forgot it was gonna happen (it always happens on Thursday, I'm regular since I take the pill). When I remembered, I ran to the bathroom armed with a tampon. I use the kind that doesn't have a wasteful applicator. Lo and behold, blood. So I insert the thing which takes a bit of putting fingers up there and in the process it makes this awful, loud GLORP sound because there was so much blood. Ugghhh.

Pain. Stabby pain.
And, I think I ate about half my body weight in junk food yesterday. Good times.

More pms than period issues, but the combination of feeling fat/insatiable hunger for junk food (hello french fries) made me realize what time is coming up. Of course, now that I'm expecting it, it will problem be at least a week late. mother forking period.

I think I offended an old lady with my period yesterday. I went to the bathroom in a shopping centre because I felt like my cup was leaking. I sorted it out, flushed, and walked out of the stall without looking back. There was a lady waiting to use the toilet next, and she moved to go in my stall but something made her stop, and she decided not to go in after all. I could see the horrified look on her face in the mirror as I washed my hands. I don't know what I left in there, but it sure is embarrassing if the next person is too grossed out to use the toilet after you.

also, ow. Me too! Even when I don't have my period. I have been on the pill for almost two years and I am having some health issues so I want to see if going off it helps. I am concerned about getting a real period again since the pill reduced my period to one to two days of spotting per month. It will be weird to have to buy tampons or whatnot.

Last month, I basically spotted for two weeks. This month, I didn't even have enough to fill one cup, and it only lasted a day and a half. If I were at home, I'd take a pregnancy test, but I'm on vacation and can't emotionally deal with possibility that it might be positive til I'm home. Plus, I had an abnormal pap a while ago, so I'm all paranoid that something up there is wrong-wrong if I'm not preggo. Ugh. I just want to go home.

This the opposite of a complaint, actually...the period that wouldn't end finally ended!! After 5 weeks and 6 days of bleeding I've now been blood free for two days. Hurray!! (Oh please oh please don't let this be some forked up uterine trick.)

The pms has now progressed into irritability and especially bad skin, but no sign of the period itself yet. Late. If it shows up next week when I'm taking an overnight bus, I'm going to be PISSED. And it probably will, because my uterus hates me.

TMI under the spoiler clicky. I warned you. Anybody else accidentally drop your diva cup and all of a sudden have a murder scene in your bathroom? Because I just did that. Heavy flow from IUD doesn't help either.

Cruel, cruel joke. j-dub are you on a single hormone bc pill or combined? I ask because my friend can't take the combined pill so they put her on the single hormone pill (progesterone only I think) and she basically had her period all the time, even if it was just a bit of spotting, for 3 months. So she came off it and is now on the injection and she doesn't have a period at all now! I am in a really foul mood today. I am tired because I was away for work all weekend working long hours and can't take a day off. Also, I have my period because I am a complete donut and I left my pill at home when I went away, so it is here a week early. It hurts and I don’t want to be at work. I want chocolate and bed. I'm glad I'm not onsite anymore, because if some well meaning stand builder man were to crack a lame joke at me today I might punch them!
