Springtime has clearly taken a stand. Let's stand in solidarity and plan a picnic!

I propose Saturday, March 31. I have plans in Center City that evening so I'm already taking the train in. Is there a good park for picnicking that's not too far from Suburban Station?

Alternately, if we hate the outdoors, we could meet up somewhere else...but let's make a plan of some kind!

K! The best thing for suburban station is Rittenhouse but I know people have qualms about it.

My spring break is in April. I'll see if I can work it. I could really use a get away mini vacation. My budget is like nil though, especially since I just spent $70 I shouldn't have on classroom supplies. Gas is so freakng expensive, but I already spend almost $400/ month, so what's a little more, right?

Mapquest says its only 2 1/2 hours. I can totally work that out if I don't have to get a hotel. It's probably too much in one day, but I could probably swing that if I had to. My work commute isnt much less on Fridas when 95 sucks.

Ok just checked. My last work day is the 29th, and I'm back on the 10th. But for GeD, I still work on the 2nd and 4th. It's too much to ask for the spring breaks to coincide. Bah.

But I have some days.

You're always welcome to stay on my couch, if that would help!

You're welcome to stay with me too. I have a couch, an air mattress, and an extra-large extra-cushy massage table. I'm going to a Quaker lecture thing in the evening (http://www.pym.org/william-penn-lecture) and then my Sundays are pretty busy (Quaker stuff in the morning, choir in the evening) but you're perfectly welcome to hang out, come to Quaker stuff with me, whatever you want to do. I also usually make an awesome breakfast Sunday morning, and I usually eat it all by myself, so if you want awesome breakfast, mi casa es su casa. Just give me as much advance notice as possible so I can plan properly :)
