Reminds me I really need to start looking for a new jacket for spring (the zipper on my old one broke this autumn). Depends what you count as "southern" Sweden. More like the middle east to me!

And what constitutes warm weather depends on your tolerance. I almost always wear long sleeves.

It's gorgeous here today! The sun is out (a rarity) and it's hovering in the mid to high 40s. I wish I could go take a long walk with my dogs instead of having to go to a work event tonight. Booface.

it's still ridiculously hot. But we set our clocks back this past weekend so we are finally getting dark at a reasonable hour (and getting light early enough for me). About time!

More "tornadic action" today. They all seem to be passing south of here, but I'm still nervous and SO OVER THE FORKING TORNADO WARNINGS.

It's been summer-like temperatures for like 2 weeks now. WHAT THE fork. It's normally just above freezing point this time of year, and it's going to be 26C on Wednesday. I can barely stand the heat for the few months it's here, and now this :( I know it's not as simple as just saying, "See it's warm outside when it shouldn't be! GLOBAL WARMING" but seriously. It's alarming to me that it's so hot in March after a winter where it was also freakishly mild, hardly any snow. I worry about all the migratory birds and all the crops. It's just too weird and I miss having seasons you can count on.

Gorgeous, sunny day in Provincetown - 60 degrees, flat asparagus calm sea and a bunch of right whales feeding at Herring Cove. Doesn't get better than this!

The sunshine and near elimination of gross grey/black snow and ice was appreciated this morning.....but now I wake up all sweaty because of the heat. I am fine with cold- my heat was broken for months and I never got it fixed because I liked it that way. Now I want to get the AC going, but know that it's ridiculous to do in March. This could prove to be a painful summer.

It's been so nice and sunny the last few days. Slovakia has pretty good weather really. We have really defined seasons with a really cold snowy winter (yay for skiing) then all of a sudden it goes from freezing to hot in a matter of a week or two. I have no idea how there's any water for people to drink since it doesn't seem to rain that often at all.

Well, it's the first day of spring and I woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground. Not cool Mother Nature, NOT COOL AT ALL.

I wish there were snow here. I feel like all winter was really spring or fall at best. I needed a REAL NC winter, with many weeks of 30ish highs and some snow. Now it's almost like summer here--around 80 today--and it's just the first flipping day of spring. UHHHHHHH!

We've been getting little pockets of snow here and there for the last couple days. It's spring though! It's usually raining this time of year. My city is particularly patchy, so it snowed outside my window today, but I'm sure my MIL a five minute drive away didn't get any. So bizarre!

I'm thrilled at how much daylight we have again. And sun! In the last week, 4 days have been full of sun! That's more than 50%, guys!

I actually HATE Daylight Saving Time right now. Every morning it's a chore to make myself get up because it's still gray outside. I'd much rather have bright mornings and early evenings personally. I'm also more of a night person along with being a cool weather person, so this time of year not really for me at all!

It's supposed to get up to 24C (75F) here today and 26 (79) tomorrow. It's not often that warm in July or August.
Environment Canada is predicting snow for next Monday, however.

It's been in the 30's and raining all day. I'm pissed it's not snowing.

It's been gorgeous in Boston all week! Right now it is a sunny beautiful 82 degree day! We've been spoiled. sadly next week its going back to the 50s and 60s. Though if this is how winter ended and spring is starting, I'm a little nervous that summer is going to be a scorcher. damn global warming.

Chicago has been amazing this past week or two. All the students that were bragging about going some place warm for spring break next week are now disappointed that the weather will be nearly the same when they get to Florida or Arizona.

We've been in the 80s for the past week. Pollen counts are already in the thousands. My car is pollen-colored.
I'm not going to relax until the end of May, though, since we occasionally have April blizzards that kill all the plants and send society into a complete breakdown. When I was a kid, there was one spring when a week after playing on the slip-and-slide I was building an igloo in the back yard.
