I am really looking forward to the new character!

Uhh, I don't know why you all are calling that a spoiler. The creator said who it was like 5 minutes after the finale and even announced who the actress was. That's definitely not just comic book knowledge.

Well, whoever it is with the sword and the pets on chains, their faces certainly looked weird-- I think they didn't have jawbones. (This is speculation! I haven't read the comics or watched the thingy! I could probably go back and pause it and look though.)

Well I think it's pretty clear that the walkers were missing key walker-needed body parts. But that still don't really explain why they were just standing there not trying to get at her or Andrea. I mean we've seen walkers with impairments that meant they certainly weren't gonna eat the people they were going after, but they still gave it their damndest. Why were these ones just standing there all defeated like they understood?

My bf and I screamed at the TV at the end w/ the caped girl and pet walkers. A sharp sword is really the best weapon in this situation - long distance head chopping.

We also had the question about what happens if someone miscarries - does the baby eat its way out of the womb? And then does it crawl across the floor and eat its big brother?

I sort of hate the Talking Dead thing. We watch it on iTunes over here and it sounds like they spoil a lot of stuff for the viewers - the ones that haven't read the comics, anyway. A guy on my FB feed was complaining that they ruined the new character for him within minutes. I would have killed for details like this during the LOST days, but the creators didn't seem to know that much about what they were planning anyway (so it seemed). Maybe if LOST had been a comic book...

I just read that link and I still don't understand why there were so many walkers...is it just because they followed the helicopter? Is that really it?

Yeah and I'm just wondering if the helicopter peoples did that on purpose?


ETA: well they followed the helicopter up to a certain point and then the gun shot attracted them to the Shane/Rick/Carl scene

There was a helicopter? I missed the very beginning because my DVR decided to be weird. I caught the zomblies walking to the farm, but I didn't know how long they were walking or if there was something before that.

Yeah, it was a shot of the walkers of course eating some poor defenseless animal in Atlanta and then a helicopter overhead, which they all heard, and then started following - breaking through fences and shiitake.

ok, so, no comic book or talking dead spoilers or interview spoilers! Stuff that people say about a tv show in other places like interviews can still be spoilers!

I got the impression that that was trying to be shorthand for the formation of the massive herd-- a few from here, a few from there, all walking in sort of the same direction, picking up stragglers such that the flow just happened to end up heading straight through the farm.

I'm still annoyed with most of the characters and the way they are written. But damn if that wasn't an entertaining season finale!

Sadly I am an inpatient non-caring fan, so I asked my friend who has read the comics to fill me in. Very crazy and interesting stuff coming in the future. I am not going to spoil anything, but I can't wait for your reactions to what is coming.

Can someone tell me who the dude was in the camper behind the barn, and how long was he there, and did they know he was there? I must have missed the episode or scene where that played out previously. So confused!

And Lori is a croissant! For real! They wrote her the wrong way. We are supposed to feel bad for her, but no, I'm sorry. She got exactly what she wanted and then turned on her husband for it. That was shitty! I think the story line of Lori is backfiring on them cause no one likes her, even though she is preggers she still gets no sympathy. She can't keep track of the one kid, what the hell is she going to do the baby!

Rick did get all crazy eyed too! Everyone saw that right?

Also, I was like what up with the helicopter? But then watched the Talking Dead on demand and they answered that question. So if anyone is wondering about that there is an easy answer.

I think he was the blonde sister's boyfriend. He's kind of been in the background of all the episodes, never doing anything (apparently including caring when she tried to kill herself). Any time he was anywhere other than the far distance, Boyfriend and I were all 'LOOK OUT, GUY! You're expendable!'. We completely forgot his name, so when the zombies were eating him we were like 'NOOOOO, not... Bobby? Timmy? Some kind of diminutive?' and then it turned out his name was Jimmy so we were pretty much right.

Maybe it will claw its way out! Just like the Dale/cow eating zombie!

It's spoiler light. Definitely not a huge deal, but it's a slippery slope with the comic-reading mothatruckas. On the really reals.

Also, not everybody watches Talking Dead because there are spoilers (mostly small). Some people just do not want to know stuff ahead of time.
