Have so far bought and tried the cream cheese, coconut & chocolate milk and the creme caramel. None of them blew me away taste-wise, so I probably won't re-purchase again except for the cream cheese as I occasionally use it for cake frosting and it'll be easier for me to get hold of the Tesco one over say, Tofutti.

I just tried the coconut milk. It reminds me the most of dairy milk, at least look and texture-wise. Something about the flavour as well - it's not coconut-y, but it doesn't have a bean-y wang or a nutty flavour like the other milks. It tastes kinda weird in tea (I'll stick with soy) though it didn't curdle or separate. It works fine for porridge, and its low sugar content would probably make it good for sauces. And it makes a good chocolate milk.

Just eating on the creme caramel now. I quite like it!
I must say i prefer the alpro hazelnut milk to the tesco one though.

I tried the chocolate coconut milk and it's not bad. I think I prefer alpro's chocolate soymilk though.

trying a peach yoghurt... had to add a bit of agave nectar, because it seems quite weakly flavoured :(
Its a shame because i really wanted to like it. probably wont be buying it again.
Ill get the creme caramel again though.

I just tried the rice milk. I still don't like rice milk. I can't quite put my finger on it because I love horchata, but rice milk just doesn't work for me. Too sweet, maybe, or something else. I don't know.

I gotta say that the creamy garlic & herb spread in mashed potato is AMAZING. Also, I made the avocado salsa potato skins from Chloe Coscarelli's new book the other night and mixed the spread into the potato, put it back in the skin and put the salsa on top. Veered somewhat away from the recipe, but it was mighty tasty :)

I am liking the cheddary spread. My go to quick meal at the moment is pasta with some cheddary spread, aubergine pesto (sacla), nooch and siracha mixed in. And if I'm feeling fancy some peas! hahaha. It's dirty but quick and yummy.

just been to the large tesco's near me, so finally got to buy some stuff.

Got the cheddar spread, jelly and the butter as it was cheaper than pure. Nothing else appealed.

I like the effort Tesco made, but I was so shocked some of the prices. I do a big monthly store cupboard shop from Ocado normally, 99p delivery slots in my area - and Ocado and waitrose are actually cheaper. So doubt will be frequenting Tesco again.

Does the spread melt into the pasta well? I was gonna try a cheesey mushroom and sweetcorn pasta bake :)

Just tried the block cheese, it melts pretty well under the grill :) I was happy with it.
Had it ontop of vegetable pasta bake type thing, yummliezzz

I melt it in the pan first then add the cooked pasta back so not sure.

I tasted the spread straight out the tub and it was yuk. Is it better melted?

Absolutely nothing in my local Tesco, despite speaking to customer services on the phone. Bloke I spoke to in the shop was less than useful too.

They have about ten kinds of margarine and butter, how can there not be one dairy-free one?

Is it the cheddar spread? Prob not then because I think its ok straight out the tub.

I think the taste of cheddar is still too vivid in my mind, I used to love proper mature. My brother cooked a dauphinoise potato dish and I couldn't take my eyes off it - I'm going to avoid replacement cheese until cheese is a really distant memory - I'll go heavy on the marmite in compensation :p

I have almost half a tub of the plain yogurt left and it is just sitting in my fridge. What should I do with it? (I don't like how it tastes on its own and I bought it for a recipe)

This week I went to my HFS and stocked up on cheezly as a treat. I'd forgotten how much better than Tesco's scheeze is. I ate a whole block.
