AFR wihtout a doubt, I've made a few things out of some of the other books I have, but AFR just captivated me and I have cooked consistently out of it more than any other cookbook I've owned vegan or otherwise. Its a magic book.

I've made nearly everything in AFR, except for the recipes calling for brussels sprouts and beets, because my dumb husband won't eat either of those things.

Of Isa and Terry's cookbooks, my favorite/most used is Vegan Cupcakes. I also own Vegan with a Vengeance, Veganomicon, Vegan Brunch, Appetite for Reduction and Vegan Cookies. They are all good books but my challenge with them is that I'm slow in the kitchen and therefore find many of the recipes time consuming. I find I usually have to double the time a recipe is said to take and that is true with cookbooks across the board, not just Terry and Isa's.
At the moment I'm using Robin Robertson's Quick Fix Vegan a lot. I also like her Quick Fix Vegetarian. An oldie that I used to use a lot is Lorna Sass's Complete Vegetarian Kitchen. Good if you own a pressure cooker, esp. for risottos.

Of Isa's books... 'Vegan Brunch'. Overall, it's definitely 'Simply Heavenly!'
Still dreaming of that rhubarb pie in 'Pie in the Sky', though.

The Vegan Table. I've been cooking a lot from the internet lately though.

Wouldn't be able to pick which one of the Isa/Terry books I use the most, although I did have to get a new copy of VWAV because my original copy fell apart, if that says anything. I barely touch any of my other (numerous) cookbooks, but I keep coming back to Isa and Terry. Genius, pure genius.

Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, then Veganomicon. I'm not much of a cook, more into cakes and puddings.

The Veganomicon is the book that keep on giving. I always feel like I've made practically everything and make my faves regularly and then end up trying something else it becomes a new favorite. I remember when I got it years ago and read the bit about ice cream and was like "yeah right like I'll ever do that when I can just buy ice cream". Cut to 5 years later eating homemade cherry garcia and wondering what took me so long.

I had to replace VWaV (I kept the tattered copy because it was my first vegan cookbook), my only book to fall apart from use and not because a tenacious little shiitake chewed the hell out of it.

I just leafed through Vegan Brunch and I was blown away by how much I've covered, especially since I didn't test. I never make anything for actually breakfast/brunch but I use it loads for dinners/muffins. I love it so much.

In college I went through a phase where I made nearly every- if not all- recipe in VCTOTW. I still use it more often then I'd like to admit. For everyday use, Vegan with a Vengeance and, surprisingly, The Vegetarian Family Cookbook. It has a lot of vegan recipes and easy ways to veganized nearly everything. It's like my Joy of Cooking.

AFR and V'con are tied for first. AFR when I'm cooking for myself and Vcon for when I want to impress others.

Vegan Brunch in terms of number of things made out of it, Vcon in terms of repeated usage for a more limited number of recipes. VPITS and VCIYCJ tie in third place as I made tons of sweets for a while, before moving to AFR to rein in the damanges .

Let Them Eat Vegan or Vegan Diner.... They're the first I flip to. And I'm never disappointed.

Veganomicon is probably my most used cookbook. Chloe's Kitchen has been getting a lot of use recently.

This depends on how you define used the most. VwaV is the book I've made the largest percentage of recipes from, but I use it pretty infrequently now. I use La Dolce Vegan for all my seitan flavoring needs, so I think it's the book I take off my shelf most often. The book I've been making the most recipes out of lately is Chloe's Kitchen.

Viva Vegan for sure - & I have loved *everything* I've made from it - followed by Vegan Diner.
I recently bought the Ethnic Vegetarian. There are a very few cheese & egg recipes, some easy to veganise - not strictly speaking a vegan book, but at least 95% of the recipes are. I have already made a bunch of stuff & it's going to overtake Vegan Diner very soon as one of my most used cookbooks. I love how it gives you spice blends for every type of cuisine, & for an Australian who isn't really exposed to a lot of South American, Caribbean, African, & Southern US cuisine, it's a real education & exciting to try so many unfamiliar flavours. Most of the ingredients are easy to find & the recipes are easy to prepare in under 45 minutes too. I recommend it to anyone who loves spicy food.

As most of you - Veganomicon - even when I want just to cook plain rice I always check how much water I really need. I know this quite well but double check in Vcon always makes me more comfortable ;). And AFR - just for zucchini-beans tacos - it's insanely tasty, like I make them twice a month at least.
