That surprises me. I am assuming that the manufacturers think that no one is going to eat a meal that doesn't at least have dairy in it?

Most people won't. Even when I was vegetarian, finding the few veg entrees was very, very difficult as most stores didn't stock them.

My old roommate is now a food scientist in charge of QC at one of the plants and she said most of the veg meals are the least popular. All the chicken meals are apparently the most popular.

I few lines make them, though. I was able to get two vegan Healthy Choice ones and I know Kashi makes some, and always Amy's. And I know there are others, I just can't remember right now. I don't expect them to be the best sellers, but just give us one. I'll buy the shiitake out of it. Even if it's not good.

Definitely Papyrus

That'd look awesome. Is there a Cyrillic version of Papyrus?

(Ha ha no. Probably Comic Sans. It's playful!)

I guess Lean Cuisine's target buyers are people trying to restrict calories--at least that seems to be the case because the meals aren't actually healthy, they're just low-calorie/low-fat. Whereas Kashi and Amy's and to some extent Healthy Choice are selling theirs as healthier/organic/vegetarian/vegan. It would be nice to have a cheaper vegan option for something like that. Those Amy's burritos are--I'm not shitting you--5.99 here now. The Indian meals are over seven bucks, and the no-cheese pizza is twelve! We don't generally eat that stuff, but if we have absolutely no time and are starving, it's the only thing in our grocery store that can stand in as an instant meal.

The Kashi Mayan Harvest Bake is one of the best frozen meals I've ever had, but the Whole Foods closest to me (closest grocery store now) doesn't carry it! Womp, womp! I would have to walk to the next grocery store (or ride the train one stop)!

I've been buying some stuff after a time of not really buying anything other than groceries, and now I want to buy all of the things!

I really want a mocha, but I'm afraid the chocolate will trigger a migraine! I'm so cold and sleepy though! I need some kind of warm coffee goodness. I don't know that I'd like any other syrup though as the vanilla soy milk at sbux is already so sweet.

Do you ask for fewer pums than they automatically put in? I get one pump of raspberry in a venti latte. Any more and it is so sickly sweet.

I do! I usually ask for 2 pumps of mocha only. I settled with a cup of tea that I had in the office as my laziness won over anything.

Do you get just a raspberry latte? I don't know what I think about fruity coffee.

I need my oven to be three temperatures at the same time so I can bake bread, broil tempeh, and roast broccoli before my dinner party starts in 40 min.

Gave up hormonal BC because it made me a crazy person, developed acne for the first time in my life. I'm not really sure what to do about it either. I'm a compulsive skin-picker too so that's not helping I'm sure.

Just got home from a weekend trip to Disneyland (my first time to any Disney anything ever!) and although I did a lot of work in the car, I still have plenty of planning and worksheet creation and whatnot to do for the next few days (maybe 1.5 hours worth?) and I just... don't want to do it. I want to sit on my asparagus.

BOO.

I've always had lots of skin problems. I also gave up hormonal BC a couple of months ago and right now... it's pretty bad. Not just my face but also chest and upper back. So I commiserate.

The phones since 3G seem really fragile. Does your warranty cover dropping?

I have insurance that can cover it, yeah. the excess might be more than a replacement screen though, so I might just do that.. I'll suss it out later

and to its credit, I've dropped iPhones several times over the years with no drama at all. today was just unlucky I guess!

I'm terribly sad that the doctor said my ear disorder has (at least temporarily) grounded me from roller coasters.

In the last month, my power went out twice, just for a few hours each time, but it still drove me nuts. I'm totally addicted to electricity! My well pump also died, so I was without running water for over 24 hours, so I had to bring big bottles to my house from the neighbor's--even to flush the toilet. I'm totally addicted to running indoor water too!

The same thing happened to me when I went from the pill to the Mirena, even though I had always had really clear skin. It cleared up on its own with time.
