They posted today on their Facebook saying that they're closing in 26 days and that it will actually happen this time.

Ugh I Know I saw! :( I'm hoping I can make it over there before then to eat a vegan breakfast burrito or Vegan BLT w/ avocado...or everything possible.

fml.

so sad. That place holds a place in my late night college memories. It was so cool to return every few years since moving and see it get more and more vegan friendly.

I never went there much and the waitstaff annoyed me, but I'm still sad it's closing. That area will lose some character.

I eat there at least 2-3 times a month, sometimes more. I'm super sad they are closing.

I will miss their vegan grilled cheeze with bacon. Yum. Guess when I'm in back bay it's salads now. :-\

Now I have to go eat this... I never had the vegan grilled cheeze with bacon!

i'm really going to miss going there on warm summer days to drink beer at brunch outside on the patio. I've got some amazing day drinking memories there.

I'd be down for a meetup!

I, too, have a wonderful day drinking memory there. We get 1/2 day Fridays during the fall, and one day it was really sunny but a bit cold. I sat outside and had beer and soup and a TLT and read a book. It was wonderful!

my friends and i used to go there occasionally during college. i havent been there in ages but i do remember they had a really yummy yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal thing drizzled with honey (obviously pregan)

Thanks for filling it out everyone! So far, it's looking like the meetup will happen on Thursday. I'm going to keep the poll open for another day if that's okay with everyone in case someone else would still like to join in. If you don't get to contribute to the poll but are available during the meetup time, feel free to come along.

I have plans on Thursday, so I won't make this one, but I agree that there should be another meetup or three before it closes.

The reason I have it set for this week is because I will be out of the area next week but if there are people interested in another one before it closes, whether or not I'm in the area, I don't mind setting up another meetup so that more people can join.

Would anyone be interested in that?

The last time they were going to close, they said they'd be moving. Is that no longer the case? They're just going to go away? I'm pretty sad about this--it was our go-to quick brunch place.
