Yikes Torque!

PP, can you say no to things? Just practice saying "with my current workload, I couldn't do justice to this project, but I believe [douche co-worker] has availability." If you are having panic attacks, its time to start protecting your own sanity.

Its been nearly 2 months since I injured my knees - and I've been in PT for them etc etc etc. Finally I am feeling better, and go for a walk, only to pull a muscle in my hip. I swear I never believed that everything starts to break at 40, but man is that turning out to be the case.

I have had a CRAPTASTIC DAY! It felt good just to scream it like that, thanks.

I was spring cleaning and found that moths had made a home in my big rug under the bed/under some storage boxes. The good news- colony was old and dead. Bad news- the carpet now ruined for anything else and it STINKS! Good news- now its clean.

I ordered new filler and niffty supplies for my daytimer. Good news- they arrived today! Bad news- Me, Myself and I ordered the WRONG SIZE!!! (which I found out after I opened the most expensive part because I was so upset about the rug.) Now I get to spend more $$ and buy a new Tote/binder.

The worst..... I"VE BEEN HACKED!!! It is fixed but I gave some no name Co my CC to secure my computer from the problem.... they WERE THE PROBLEM!! Good news- I can get my $$ back from my CC Co. BAD NEWS- SO totally HACKED at ME for being so STUPID!!! Now we have to figure out if I need new cards, If they can get into my bank account. I think I'm getting the couch tonight. 8(

It was Sunny outside to today-- That made things a little more livable. 8) Thanks for letting me VENT!!

I forgot how much working graveyard sucks a bag of balls. I feel like a forking zombie. Now I have to do it again tonight. I hope my employee knows how much I love him by giving him a couple of nights off.

Nothing too awful, just that I'm feeling super lazy and super poor, and I have no idea what to do for dinner tonight. I'm afraid it might be a jar of peanut butter, which is something of a trigger/binge food for me.

Awful, just awful. I'm crying as I type this. I'm going to get me and the kids out of the house and get some fresh air. One of the worst parts are over, this all just sucks so so so so and so much.

My bad thing isn't that bad, but...
I was sick yesterday and didn't leave the house. Nate stayed home from work to help, he didn't help very much, but the thought was nice. I started a project earlier this week - I want to plant a garden, so I weeded and got the boards for the raised bed but needed Nate to cut them. So this morning he did. The bad thing is that he is outside putting the boxes together while I am laying down with Grey. I really, really anted this to be my project and I wanted to out everything together. Grey will nt take naps unless I lay next to him. And I am sure Nate would love to be laying next to Grey taking a nap. And once Nate is done he will want to take a nap and I will hve to take care of Grey. So, I know it isn't that bad, but I m feeling really upset about it.

i live in a snob-infested snobland. i hate snobs. there must be non-snobby people here, i just don't seem to know where to find them. i came home from a snob encounter and immediately blocked someone from FB, ravelry and unsubbed from her associated blog. what a douche.

I showed up to work on my day off. And they didn't let me leave.

I nearly cried in frustration in the library trying to finish my linguistics work- I spent almost three hours on a single assignment, and I still got most of the answers wrong. I do not understand it at all. I love prescriptivist grammar and English language syntax. I don't understand phonetics. I don't understand why where my tongue hits against my mouth matters.
I think I'm going to drop this class. It'll set me back a quarter (again) but I cannot deal with being this frustrated over a freaking class. It's online, too, so no TAs to bother for help. This class made me more anxious and frustrated in two weeks than logic philosophy did in two months.

I found linguistics baffling too, missd. It was one of the few classes I dropped in college.

Oh crepe. I have my own small business, and every year I have to make an annual declaration to my province's business registry. I moved last year, so I checked that all the info was up to date. Somehow, although my address as the business owner is up to date, the address of my "establishment" — which should identical — is still my old address... This means I'll have to call a governement agency on Tuesday morning and try to explain this situation to someone who doesn't give a toss and may not be very understanding. I don't do well with people even in the most mundane situation, so this is NOT going to go well... I'm already writing a script in my head to help me be as coherent as possible.

I don't know if I should cry or scream right now.

I have a sore throat. I know it's from hanging out in a smoky apartment for 3 hours last night (2 guys basically chain smoking). It didn't seem that bad when I was there, but I guess it accumulated more than I realized.

What sucks is that these 2 guys make up 1/2 of the band I'm in and that apartment is the easiest one for us to meet at. I hope that we will spend a lot more time practicing (in a non-smoking practice space we rent) and less time hanging out and planning at the apartment.

The good part... one of the guys made kick-ass Nepalese food and he made all but one dish vegan so I could eat it!

I broke my fin housing on my surfboard so now its in the shop where its getting fixed and theyre also fixing up my previous half asparagus patch jobs

I know I'm all Debbie Downer lately, but oh man. Last night I started dry-heaving and it didn't stop for four hours! Spent much of the night in the ER getting rehydrated and pumped with anti-nausea drugs. They had no idea what was causing it and said to follow up with my doctor, which I'm doing today but seeing as every test keeps coming back normal I don't have high hopes. Ugh. So tired of this. And pretty sure I will lose my job if I keep missing work as I'm still on new-employee probation for a couple more months.

On the plus side, though, my love has been incredibly supportive and kind and gentle and took me to the hospital and held my hand while the nurse failed to properly insert an IV, and was generally silly and upbeat in a bid to cheer me.

I am so saddened by how sick you have been. I hope there are answers forthcoming for you soon.

Mine is clients. If you know you would like to exhibit at my conference then sign up for it before the conference. Do not call me right (two days) before start and ask me to guarantees that I will hold a space for you. I will not do that. Ugh. So when you say tests come back normal, I assume you mean blood/urine etc., but have they done all those imaging-type tests too? Ultrasound/MRI/whatever else? And then since all those things come back unknown/fine... Have they gone backwards sort of and looked at maybe somethng really simple like allergies? Moral of the story, I feel so sad for you, unknown shiitake is the worst. It makes me annoyed that they're not acting like TV makes us think medical professionals do, up all hours of the night pouring over books, calling everyone they know, and even fancier people they don't know, until it's solved.

Yeah, I've had an ultrasound and a hyda scan. Getting the results of the hyda scan today. Next step is probably a camera down the throat.

And yes! I agree. I was commenting that it was probably just about time to call in Dr House.

It's honestly getting the point where I'm afraid I'm going to lose my job and have to go on temporary disability if things don't improve significantly and soon.
