Is there anybody out there? My searches for Coeur d' Alene, ID (and Spokane, WA) threads on the site have come up sparse. I realize this is a long shot, but do any of you PPK'ers live in Coeur d' Alene?

I don't know of anyone in Cd'A but there are a few Spokanites (or maybe one Spokanite and a few formers, anyway.)

I went a couple of years ago for work, and remember eating fries at a downtown brewery, soy lattes at a cute coffeeshop, and stir fries at an asian fusion restaurant at the namesake resort. I'd love to know if there's any new vegan options, since I just signed on to another conference this summer.

I've been so busy with school in Spokane & being newly vegan this year, I haven't really figured out all my options yet jdfunks. BUT Syringa (sushi place with an awesome lunch time bento box; & the sushi chef will fix you up vegan rolls with whatever he has that day) and The Garnet Cafe (a breakfast/lunch place) both have yummy options. They are not downtown, but totally worth the long walk or short cab ride down 4th St.
I graduate in the middle of June, so if you message me before you come, I will hopefully have figured out some downtown options, (fingers crossed) since that is where I live. . . Will you be staying at the Resort? I can't say their restaurants cater to vegans by any means, but they will go out of their way for customer service, so they will definitely tweak menu's for you without a lot of fuss.

Tenacious, I will pop back into this thread or message you before I come - thanks! Yeah, I'll likely be staying at the Resort again, but not by choice, simply for a conference.
