Those last two pictures of Sable are particularly gorgeous! The third one could totally be a movie poster for a melancholy love story--just Photoshop Ryan Gosling in there.

This little guy was stuck on a fence on a highway overpass today. My mom had to climb a ladder and get him down. He has the funniest little face!

Meet Mrs. Fuzzbutt Heidegger (as in "Hey Digger! I love this thread so much. It's so much fun to look at pictures of happy animals! My oldest boy is Rylie. He's kind of a jerk, but it's part of his charm. This is one of the few pictures I have of him where he's not making crappy (grumpy) face.  Striper by catintheattic, on Flickr Newt (named after Sir Isaac Newton) is my youngest and most problematic cat. He likes climbing things, including me. Fortunately he's put his climbing skills to appropriate use in the picture.  Tree Boy by catintheattic, on Flickr Finally, but certainly not least, is my almost (less than a month away!) 12 year-old dog, Skye. Her favorite activities are eating and rolling in smelly things. Sable's day today: We went to the pond. (I think posing by bodies of water must be one of Sable's hobbies.)  When we got back, Leeza, the dog next door, was outside, so Sable stopped by to say hello.
