I thought I saw somewhere that it was/was going to be available in the Bay Area. Anyone know where Dave's Killer Bread can be found around here? SF preferable, but I'll take East Bay too...

My gf has been getting it from Safeway for the past couple weeks and it's been amazing. I saw it at her place and got really excited. I didn't know they were coming down here!

I'm obsessed with this forking bread. The Blues Bread is SO GOOD. We go through like four loaves a week.

The old cruddy Safeway I go to in San Jose doesn't have it, but I finally discovered it at a nicer Safeway in Santa Clara. Yum! It was so good! My husband's allergic to seeds so I didn't have to share.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!! MUST GET NOW!! *leaves work* Dave's Killer Bread is AMAZING and they donated to our animal rights group in college when we did a "try being vegan for a week" thing and made sandwiches. So wonderful.

I got some last night (the 21 grain variety) and had it for breakfast toast this morning. SO GOOD.

The only bad thing I can see is that they don't appear to have sin dawgs. If anyone sees those, please let me know, because I WANT ONE.

It's been on sale for $3 pretty consistently at Safeway! I will keep my eyes open for sin dawg. I think I would eat 5 rolls a week if I could find it.

Only $3? Dang! I need to get to a Safeway.

I have never had this stuff. Apparently, I should make my way to a Safeway.

I found some totally by accident while browsing for acceptable bread at my local Safeway, where I rarely shop, and I was SO EXCITED! They only had two kinds and they were like five dollars, but I bought a loaf with no regrets.

I feel like I should brag on behalf of Sacramento because we've had Dave's for a long time at Winco. Sin Dawgs are readily available here, so ha!

if you have a safeway card and you go online, you can get these coupons/personalized dealsto put on your card, and i have one this week for 2.50 Killer Bread. YUM!

Oooh, thanks for the tip! Maybe this is the week for me to stock up on bread.

ETA: OK, I'm on their website and I can't figure out how to get the bread deal. Do I need to have purchased it previously using my card for it to remember?

sorry, i didn't check back but yeah i had purchased it before and generally the personalized deals are for things you have bought. this week i have organic bananas? the funny thing is that i rarely buy bread, but my husband had picked it up when it first showed bc he remembered me watching the everyday dish video over and over when i was learning to make decent bread. next week, deal!

I know this sounds weird, but can someone post a picture of what the packaging for this stuff looks like? I was in Safeway the other day and I was looking for it because you guys are raving, but I've never heard of it or seen it before in my life, so I had no idea what I was looking for. I wandered the bread area for a while, but didn't find anything, and I figured maybe it'd help if I knew what I was looking for...

I know I'm pretty late here, but I was finally near a Safeway and scored a 21-grain loaf. First time I've had Dave's Killer Bread. This stuff is amazing!!
