C'mon, losers! Where's the American idol discussion!? I loved loved loved the Joshua and Jessica duet. They were so cute together. Plus, Joshua is already my favorite.
Also, I really loved Skylar tonight, after being not so crazy about her last week. I usually think Wind Beneath My Wings is so cheesy, but I really liked her performance. Also, it doesn't hurt that she sang Islands In The Stream, which is truly one of my favorite songs ever (and I'm not too proud to admit it!)

Joshua is still my favorite, but I wasn't that into his song tonight. A little too goofy for my tastes, but still, I'm in the fan club.

Pretty shocking for me, but when I saw Joshua, Elise, and Jessica in the bottom 3, I was like "WHAAAAT?" I can't believe Jessica was the one with the lowest amount of votes...

I think Hollie is my least favorite female contestant right now. She really does think too much when she sings, and it bothers me cuz in the duets/smaller group songs she sings so much more relaxed and natural. I like Skylar and Jessica both equally, and they're both really good singers. Skylar's voice is so awesome, but she seems to rush in her songs sometimes and I want to tap her on the shoulder and tell her to slow down. Jessica is really good, and every time she sings it's effortless - I just can't watch her sing, though. I hate the finger tapping on the mic. It makes me cringe. Elise has to be my favorite girl because I feel like she really is the most versatile style-wise, and I (mostly) like her clothes! ha. And I think her personality is the coolest of the ladies.

For the boys: I'm sorry, but I really don't like Colton. He's just not my cup of tea. I'm bored of Phillip's angry-sounding singing, and the vein that pops out of his forehead bothers me... Joshua's my favorite boy!

I thought they must have got the two groups mixed up. Joshua and Jessica gave the best performances the night before (or so I thought).

What's going on there do you think? Is it all young teenage girls voting or what? Doesn't make sense to me... Glad they saved Jessica. That girl can sing!

Her voice is great, but is it just me that thinks she is really quite boring? Her voice is fantastic, but there are others in the competition who are much more exciting to me.

Colton won me over last night. Of course the judges thought he sucked. I don't really like Jessica's voice, I find her pretty boring and the melodrama of her being eliminated was pretty ridic.

Yes, in spite of myself, I really like Colton. I like how he seems so comfortable with himself, on stage and in general. I also really like Joshua still.

That "let's get it on" was so bad. I felt like a lot of those soul numbers were too screechy and truly lacking in soul.

Elise sure gets the shiitake beaten out of her every episode! I wonder if she'll be happy to be eliminated this week? I think I would be.

I also still like Joshua best! I'm sure he won't win, but at least he knows I care.

I totally vote. And last night I voted my brains out for Joshua.

And yes! I was totally thinking the same thing, that Elise will be happy just to go home. Also poor Elise and her dog, :(

I like Phillip! The only ones I don't like are Jessica and Skylar Palin.

Yeah, that was weird. So don't do karaoke but make sure you do karaoke. It's very annoying how they think they've got everything down to a science and there's like zero spontaneity. Ryan seems kind of bored, too.

So for season five of Rupaul's Drag Race, there's a fan voting competition, and the girl in the lead right now was a semi-finalist on season 7 of AI, Danny Noriega? I thought someone might think that's cool:

not impressed with joshua's gay panic last night, not at all. and then he sang "a clay song" (heh, i know, i know) so i'm pretty much done with him. gigantic MEH from me.

loved phillip's letter re-do, but i thought the zombies were a little out of his reach on the chorus. hopefully it won't sink him.

skylar seemed awfully try-hard-y last night, like she had it turned up to 11. i'm really really over her at this point. i wouldn't mind if she or joshua went home, but i fear for hollie.

I missed last night. :(

Bummer, FBS! Joshua was so great last night. He sang It's A Man's World, by James Brown, and it was so rad. I love JB and I especially love that weird song.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised Jessica made it to the top 2... Not that I don't think she deserves it because I really like her, but I thought Phillip's fan base would automatically place him in the top two (he's got the swoony-girl vote, in my opinion), and that Joshua's 10bazillion standing ovations from the judges would sway voters in his direction.

Whatever. I bet Phillip wins - not because he's a better singer than Jessica, but his fan base. Also, I don't personally like his singing/music style, but I will give him credit for being incredibly original on a (let's be truthful here) karaoke contest.

i thought he did really well last night, and i can't BELIEVE there's actually a "winner's single" that i like. totally sounded mumford & sons-y, and perfect for phillip. poor jessica, her song was awful.

Yeah, Jessica's song was HORRIBLE!!! Singing-wise, I think she's way better than Phillip, but she's obviously still not experienced enough to know what her sound really is - so she picked a shitty potential single. Of course, it's what the producers give her to choose from - and they did show Jimmy chuckling when the judges were saying it was a bad song.

I actually don't like Phillip's potential single, but it was sooooo much better than Jessica's. That, and the fact that the past four american idol winners have been white males, makes me believe Phillip's gonna win.
