GUYS. Tomorrow night is going to be amazing. Not only is Community going to be Law & Order themed, but Donald Glover is going to be on the 30 Rock live episode! Double Donald dose!
Soooooo funny -- even right down to the cuts and camera angles. I'm so glad I recorded this because I was laughing so hard I know I missed a lot of dialogue. Love!
I love my second viewings. This ep is INSANE incredible. The best is Britta being all technical and turning Todd's photo into 'old western colored' and then getting cut off when she says "As a psych major, I could --" amazing. Loved Starburns trying to get that girl to kiss him "I'll explain later!" "The explanation isn't the issue!" Loved their version of the Miranda rights!!! "You have the right to do whatever you want. Nothing you say or do can be used against you by anyone but we'd really like it if you came with us." Omg Troy's Spiderman tie. Also I love that he and Abed switched characters! "We only have time for justice" is amazing. Like the new "It's never too late for now." Loved the army guy's objection "Objection, she's clearly ramping up to something." Wish that would fly in real life. I hope they didn't actually kill off Starburns. Oh and the Dean's bedtime song was amazing, obviously.
Last night's episode was SO good. I loved all of the things you pointed out, RJM. I was so excited that it looked just like a Law & Order episode due to cuts and lighting and camera angles, like you pointed out, fenice.

I just started watching this. 2 episodes into season 1, I love it already and I've nearly wet myself approximately 6 times.

I've never even seen Law & Order but that was amazing.
My boyfriend and I usually have similar tastes, but he doesn't like Community. I keep trying to explain that it's ensemble comedy and not a typical sitcom with lots of plot continuity, but it just doesn't float his boat. To each his/her own, but I want someone to watch with!!! He did like the D&D ep.

Hey wasn't that Pop Pop's first line of dialogue in the show - ever? When Jeff dropped one of the yams and he yelled "hey that's mine!" That was him, right?

Same. R and I saw "Pillows and Blankets" and then "Basic Lupine Urology" (giving him the impression every episode is a spoof), so I'm starting from the beginning. The Celtic "Somewhere Out There" was amazing.

Just watched the D&D episode. I can't even remember the last time I laughed this hard.
