After the zombie running topic, I'm kind of wondering what else could make exercising more fun. I mean, I've dragged my eliptical in front of the xbox whilst playing fallout 3, so it was kind of like I was actually moving through the game.
However now Im back in the uni halls, I was just wondering if there could be anything I could do to exercise in my room, along those lines. Like a drinking game? but with exercise, you know... like... do [X exercise] whilst [X characters name] from [X program title] does [X action]
Or imagine __________ whilst doing _______ exercise.
For equipment I have some 4.5kg dumbell weights, 7.5kg dumbell weights, a resistance ring, and a laptop (if were talking about having something to watch)
I used to do exercises during commercials, but you could watch your favourite show and coordinate some calisthenics. For example, say you're watching "Friends", do 3 pushups every time Chandler makes a joke. Do 5 jumping jacks every time you hear the laugh track. Do 6 bicep curls each time Monica is cleaning. And so on! Actually that sounds like you'd get a great workout in only half an hour.
