It seems like it was released as a special for Vegfest but it must have gone down well because it's in their newsletter as a new product for next month.

This is the response I got about the bacon Cheezly:
"Good Morning Unfortunately due to poor demand the product was discontinued. We do however bring it back as an online special from time to time, so keep your eyes peeled. If you haven't already may I suggest that you register on the website for our newsletter and also on face book if you have it, as this is where it will be advertised."
so, if we want it back, we need to exert pressure.
Mat.

i just want ANY cheezly! ANY! When vegan essentials still had some, I got red cheddar in addition to my favorite white. The red was pretty good! not as good bacon cheezly, of course, but miles ahead of any storebought cheeze available in the US.
Why can't someone just try to make a Cheezly type cheese here. Why's it all gotta be crazy expensive artisan stuff or faux velveeta?

If they start selling that bacon Cheezly in the US I will keep the demand high.

the vegan festival is in town and they're selling Cheezly for £1.50 a block. i know i may be opening up the floodgates with this, but i thought i'd ask if anyone would want to do a swap. i'll probably have to limit it somewhat (our fridge isn't that big) and someone should probably give me some packing & shipping advice, but yeah. let me know within the next 24 hours, if possible.

Sorry, I posted in the wrong thread, not you. I was deleting my comment, didn't mean to make it sound like you posted in the wrong thread. I was tired.

I will discuss with my cohorts and get back to you, Liz! <3<3 I actually spent last night on the Redwoods website and their shopping section seemed new and as if it would estimate shipping (it had international options for around the word!) but right before payment, bam. No go.
