I love all the pink dresses! I have the exact same style of the first modcloth one posted above but in gray-and-black houndstooth from eShakti a couple years ago. It's my favourite dress.

Well guys, I finally got my pink dress from Heartbreaker (I saw it on the dress coveting thread) and I am totally in love with it! I sent all the other dresses back. Now I just have to figure out the rest of the ensemble.

Lazysmurf, you look adorable in your pink dress! I hope you'll post more pics when you figure out the rest of the ensemble.

I love that dress Lazy Smurf! A fun retro shoe would be perfect with that.
As for plus size dresses, I really like Igigi. I bought the Francesca dress in black for my sisters wedding. It is so well made and a great fit. It is made in the USA too.

I got a new sundress from Lucie Lu! Lucie Lu is having a 25% off sale for 2 days...some really cute stuff. I love wearing dresses in the summer since I discovered how amazing wearing little short underneath is for the dreaded chub rub between the thighs. I get welts if I don't wear shorts. There's some specialty products out there for this very thing, but I found a couple of cheap pairs of lycra exercise shorts that work great.

Another advantage of shorts under dresses and skirts is being able to ride a bike without worrying about flashing everyone your knickers.

I was considering buying some dresses and skirts but was dreading the chub rub- I'll definitely look into some shorts to wear under. I've been going on job interviews lately and have had the hardest time finding cute, basic professional clothes. I did okay at Marshall's and Burlington Coat Factory but most of the coat things were in tiny tiny sizes.

Chub-rub! That is the best description of that plus sized issue I have ever heard. Love! I've been doing shorts under dresses forever, I have a nice pair from The Avenue that are great and durable. They have lasted me a long time. But recently I've just been throwing leggings on under all of my dresses. Totally comfy, trendy right now, and they look great with flip flops and sandals. Plus, it feels like I'm wearing PJ's half the time. Do any of you follow the blog Frocks & Frou Frou? Have we talked about that before? She is my style icon, I just think she is adorable and makes the cutest outfits. http://frocksandfroufrou.com/

I love Frocks and Frou Frou! I think someone mentioned her in here before but she deserves another mention. Love her style.
I'm gonna try leggings under a dress. I love the look of it, I have no idea why I haven't done it!

Get the leggings from Old Navy online in the plus size section. They are the most durable leggings I've had. The ones I bought from Lane Bryant and Torrid wore out in the thighs and got holes after a few wears.
Frocks and Frou Frou wears a lot of tights, that I don't do. Tights are not as comfy to me and more dressy looking than leggings. They are really cute too though. I have a hard time finding cute tights that fit me too.

I'm a tights girl for sure. The tights on welovecolors.com are really nice and they even have a plus size range that are nice and roomy! But my favourite tights come from The Bay (similar to what I think macy's is like in the US?) and it's just some $10 brand, but they are really durable, opaque and come in a bunch of sizes.

The WeLoveColors site looks like it has a ton of options for tights. That is rad, thanks for sharing! How do they hold up between the thighs? My experience is that tights wear out much quicker than leggings.
