The ham does look fantastic, but I'm wondering what the little berry-looking things are surrounding the ham?

They are called wri wri berries and they are a hot peppers that are usually grown in the islands in the caribbean in the south like Trinidad, Barbados and also the country Guyana. They make pepper sauce with it and a cooking brandy with the berries inside it has a really good flavour.
