New Sushi/Japanese VEGAN restaurant in London!!!

How exciting! Has anyone been? It's in King's Cross. I'm so excited to go in two months! :) We don't have all vegan sushi restaurant in Philly. London gets another point...

It's been open maybe a couple of years now and some of us have been once. I really liked it a lot, though I didn't get any sushi. It's a gorgeous little (and I mean tiny) place though!

ooooh, we're staying in king's cross (well, farringdon travelodge!) at the end of april for a couple of days- might have to go here while we're down there!

There is this one guy who works there who is a total arseface, he gives you the least attention possible. Like, when you're asking him a question or waiting for the bill or whatever. But he might not even still be there, last time I was there he was ignoring our empty bento boxes for a good 20 mins or so whilst lecturing some other couple there about how he was off to somewhere far away to study sustainable aquaculture "you know - 'aqua' as in 'water', seaweeds and stuff" ...thanks for clearing that up.

But all the other staff are lovely, it is nice and cosy inside, the food is all delicious and fairly healthy and they seem to have some sort of sustainability ethic with their food going on. Which can only be a good thing.

Oh oh- also, the sasou tea is AMAZING. It's buckwheat seeds and bamboo leaf tea, and it tastes like some sort of hazelnutty sex.

Went there for lunch today and not only did I spy a whole kilo of organic brown sushi rice for sale for a mere £2, they also sold little bags of stuff for making the sasou tea - score!
