Share your excitement! And your hopes, your dreams, your disappointments, your triumphs. No book spoilers, please. And if you aren't up to speed, stay out because there will be current episode spoilers.

Can't wait! My hope is that Sookie will stay the hell away from Bill and that there will be action between her and Eric.

Some things:
-Steve Newlin as a vampire! -Crazy Russell being even crazier -Dead Tara being actually dead? Probably not. -No Jesus. Poor Lafayette. -I'm going to miss crazy Debbie. -I'm hoping for more Godric flashbacks. Also, in the trailer it looks like there is a flashback to Pam and Eric, so I'm hoping for the story on how he became her maker. -The dude from Spartacus! -DETECTIVE STABLER

Me too! And I forgot about Debbie. I really need to re-watch season 4 so I know what the hell is going on when the new one starts.
I think Russell actually scares me a little bit, but at the same time I'm glad he's coming back.

Now that I enjoy Eric, I hope he's super badass this season. I like the action/suspense scenes in this show over the romance stuff.

I finally just processed that since this is True Blood, there is a very good chance we're going to see Mr. Meloni's asparagus.

I'm so behind! I don't have my tv hooked up to anything so I have to watch HBO upstairs, which means that anytime I try to watch my dad pops out of nowhere since he never sleeps anymore and wants to watch it too. No! I'm not watching TB with my dad.

I don't recall much of season 4... except it wasn't that good? (apart from naked Eric). Was it the one with the mad witch? might dig out the last S4 episode later but I'm sure I wasn't impressed.... but with Mad Men and GOT ended/ing, its a given I will be watching, just hope its better than S4 - if they killed Bill it would be a good start :)
