If you like the Dave Matthews Band, Iron Maiden, the B52's, Squeeze, or Meat Loaf, please check out this auction to benefit my favorite foster network, PAWS Wakefield. The funds raised from the ticket auction will go toward surgery for a kitten with a cleft palate.

Quote:
Named after the Dawson Creek actress, our Monica Keena is a beautiful baby who could be a healthy, pudgy kitten, if not for the fact that she was born with a cleft palate.

Because of this birth defect, her growth has been slowed considerably. Eight weeks old and only half the size of the rest of her litter, Monica is now getting round-the-clock attention of PAWS volunteers who are helping to hand feed her and teach her how to get that nutrition down to her starving stomach.

Once she is bigger and stronger, Monica will need expensive surgery to repair this rare condition. But, so far, she is otherwise healthy and oh-so-loveable! Don't you agree that she deserves a chance for a full life?

Follow Monica's progress here and on Facebook. And please help us reach our goal of $1000 to help cover the surgery and care she will need before she can move on to her forever family.

Thanks!! :)

The Dave Matthews Band auction ends in less than 24 hours and not a single person has bid ye, s you have a pretty good chance of winning! The concert is on June 5. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 0896205008
