Hey all, if you haven't heard about this place already then I'm here to tell you!

I am going this Saturday the 9th for the first time. Each Saturday during the summer R5 will be holding free concerts from 5-9 for a summer concert series. There are a ton of beer options and vegan food! Including Little Baby's Ice cream. Most of the time I think the events are free, but if there is a cover is it around $5.00. I think that is a pretty sweet deal for an outdoors bar on the water.

Some of these need to be modified to be vegan. But the menu itself is pretty small and there are 4 options on it for vegans/vegetarians to chose from.

I went to Morgan's Pier the first Friday it opened. It was a gorgeous 80+* Friday afternoon before Memorial Day, I went with some lady friends and we were able to snag a picnic table near the water. Let me just say that was probably one of the best Friday afternoons of the year so far. Beautiful view, good beer list and Little Baby's ice cream! I got the chorizo tacos which were tasty and some almond-based vanilla molasses peanut chew ice cream from Little Baby's. They're working on the almond base (it was a tiny bit icy), but I think it was still good! They had 2 coconut-based options as well. I can really see myself loving this place pre-9pm, for some sunset beer drinking... I can see it being too crowded for comfort any later than that. Regardless, I agree, this is a really fun summer place!

I really need to get out there! I always see LittleBaby's Ice Cream truck tweeting from there.. Must try delicious vegan ice cream....

I had a great day here yesterday. The food and service was great. And the atmosphere cant be beat.
