Beauty Look Book blog raves about EB stuff. She always has nice nail polish swatches.

The EB mascara looks like it has a nice shabby brush like Lush Lash.

Good grief, this man is beautiful. I'll buy anything he sells, in triplicate, if I can have his hair.

RIGHT?! I was like, wait, what? I wonder if he curls it or if it just has that natural wave to it. EB doesn't seem to test either, but there were questions surrounding whether it was manufactured in China. He's not in many US stores, so I'm thinking it's not selling in China yet. I could be wrong of course, but that's my best guess.

http://www.sephora.com/outrageous-volume-mascara-P303303?skuId=1357813This looks OK--am I missing anything? Atomic volume looks good, but the ingredients aren't listed. Boo.

I have the Barry M modeling lash mascara, and I like it ok, but only paired with another one. The brush is tiny and hard, and if I put 20 coats on my lashes finally look defined. So I use Lush Lash and then Barry M to make it nice and purty. Once my Lush Lash is gone I will go back to ZuZu Luxe. Give it a shot, I think it's pretty awesome mascara.

I could be wrong of course, but that's my best guess. I can't imagine any of it being made in China. Most of the HE makeup brands are made in the same places (lower end too, like I believe Bourjois is made with Chanel) so its probably not even cost effective to look anywhere else for manufacturing. Its probably split between the US, France, and Italy, depending on the product. I could be wrong though since I'm just theorizing. The packaging should show where its made. I would not be surprised if the packaging was made in the same place as Chanel--the containers look very similar.

Just ordered the Barry M Lash Modeling, which I never tried, as well as the 3-in-1 which I've used before and really liked.

Verdict: I approve! It's definitely not as "stiff" feeling as Lush Lash was, which I like. Takes a little longer to dry, but my lashes look super full and long. And the brush probably won't accidentally give you an eye wound. If you're looking for a UD replacement, I think this one definitely fits the bill.

Maybe this was addressed earlier in the thread, but...
Is there a brown mascara that can be found at drugstores (i.e. cheap mascara)?

i've tried around a dozen vegan mascaras and zuzu luxe is the best. good brush, doesn't flake, long lasting, reasonably priced. highly recommended!

I buy a brand called Larenim. It might be a midwest thing? I got it while at home, and don't use it often, so it lasts quite a while. The brand labeled themselves as vegan, and I got it at a dinky local health foods store.

I just got email back from Senna Cosmetics confirming that their Voluptulash mascara is vegan. I've seen really good reviews on blogs and will probably order some soon.

I've been using UD Lush Lash and don't really have any complaints, but I think the Barry M 3-in-1 is my HG. I like the texture of it - it's not too dry or too wet - it dries nice and soft so my lashes don't feel stiff, and it has a skinnier, more traditional brush, which I think I slightly prefer. Plus it's a bit cheaper than the UD!

I just started using the Manic Panic mascara a couple of weeks ago and I'm really impressed. I usually use the UD Lush Lash, but I got the black and the blue Manic Panic mascaras on Sneakpeeq for super cheap and am really happy with them. Like others have said before, they build up on the lashes a lot better than Lush Lash, and even though they aren't labeled as waterproof they stay on my lashes during yoga without smearing all down below my eyes like some mascaras do (Zuzu Luxe did this so bad on me!).
