Haha. I might do one on navigating Lush with a boyfriend with attention issues who insists on smelling ALL THE THINGS.

I would also like someone smarter than me to do a thing showing you how to pick stuff that will suit your skin tone or whatever. I keep buying lip colouring things and then never wearing them because I swear they all look completely ridiculous.

I'll start bothering some Australian companies this weekend!

I'm just so excited over this venture and want to help make it awesome.

Okay, I decided that if I wait until I have a ton of answers from different companies, I would never get the blog up. And I want it up and we can fill in the deets later. So here's what i'm doing right now:

Making a wordpress.com blog, I can switch it over to a .com later. I might put up a Paypal link at the start so if people want to chip in for the domain registration and hosting, they can. Or maybe i'll do a Kickstarter! Donate $25 to my new laptop fund and get a shout out on twitter!

I'm going to write up an FAQ, if you can think of any questions people might have, post them!

Write the list of 100% vegan companies/companies that I am absolutely sure of.

Also I got the Zoya Pinterest mini trio of polishes, and now that I have them i'm not feelin' them, so I might do a giveaway to kick things off and garner some attention.

Zoya or the postal service screwed up, and my mini trio somehow went from Cleveland to Kansas City MO even though I'm in the Chicago suburbs. I might have to enter your contest if you have it.

Thanks! Part of my idea for content is a weeklyish round up of posts on other sites and youtube videos, I follow a few people on youtube who do vegan beauty hauls/tutorials.

I'm in! I'd love to do reviews, swatches, etc. I post on MUA (almost 100% on the Green Board) and I just started my own blog about trying to limit my purchases to products that meet the following criteria: vegan (of course), organic, fair trade certified, reduced or recycled packaging, minimal plastic packaging, ethical company, etc.

We should have a V.I.P. of the week (Very Impressive Product) haha, and when it gets big enough companies will start sending out samples!

Also, I'm going to write to a few local makeup companies to see if samples would be possible and we'll give them a write-up.

ETA; how do we set this up; do i just introduce the blog and then let them know we'd love to sample their products to write about them?

Basically that is all you do. You just have to wait.

Coo. Waiting Games are ever so familiar to me! I wrote to two companies before I started on my stuff for today. I'm going to write some more stuff out.

MBM, would you consider maybe including a weekly fashion post too, or maybe post cool vegan fashion as it comes up. I love the fashion posts on the Discerning Brute, but would love to see a greater spectrum of vegan clothing featured somewhere.

So I've hit some pretty solid financial problems as of late and I've been doing a lot of research on very, very, very cheap vegan products that can be found pretty much everywhere and I'd love to do a post on that since I'll already have compiled info and I'm sure there's lots of vegans in this situation; especially ones that live in tiny little towns and don't have access to WF and whatnot. What do you think?

I'm really looking forward to reading this blog! Right now I'm a bit stumped since my go-to cheap makeup brand (Wet N Wild) suddenly went missing from the shops. I need a new mascara and black eyeliner (I prefer crème).

Okay, I have some super exciting work for one lucky volunteer! After I finish the list of vegan companies and CF companies that have the vegan items clearly marked on their site (which is where i'm starting for now), who wants to go look at each site, figure out if they're available online only, write whatever it is next to the link, and link to a store locator if the site has one? Eh? Eh? Fun times?

I might be buying a Chantecaille lip gloss next week. Still pondering. I have enough left on my birthday [actually not sure what; might be Christmas since I think I blew through the bday one in 20 minutes; can't keep track of gift cards from aunts you haven't met is definitely a problem not to cry over,mexcept for the haven't met oart] gift card. I need a "yay! Job for next year!" celebration treat, right? Hopefully they have a counter at Saks. If not, maybe I'll wander around until I accidentally find a cute summer top on sale for $41.30 or less.

Anyway, if I go, I'll talk to the counter people about the veganness of everything and get some hopefully more direct contact info than the website. Also will hit them up for samples. If they are as sample generous as Chanel, I'll get some stuff to review.

Clearly, I'm on the not economical side of things here.
