Opened, closed for family reasons, now open again! Anyone been?
I'm going to try and head over there early next week.

Yep, it's healthy goodness. Bowl-style meals with a build-your-own option, beer and kombucha on tap, and, of course, fresh juice and smoothies.

Yeah, I went the first day they opened! My smoothie and bowl were awesome, and I've been hankering to go back. So glad it's close to me!

No, but it consists of salads and bowls, i think three of each, plus the build-your-own situation. Full juice/smoothie menu ala Sip, beer and kombucha on tap. I suggest the toasted (?) walnut based taco salad or the Portland bowl.

A few folks mentioned to me they thought the portions were on the small size, but we went with family and all of our bowls were big portions. Mine easily made two meals. I had the Portland bowl, which was really great.

Yeah, portions are good; I think most people are used to getting HUGE amounts of food when they go out to eat. Like Vita is almost always too much.

The size of the bowls can vary and are sometimes on the small side (5 visits). I think the main problem is that they somtimes go easy on the rice. Although the food is not a vitaesque bargain, the sauces and vegetables scream freshness. The canteen portland bowl (soy curls) has replaced the missisipi bowl as my favorite bowl in PDX.

Gosh yeah, I thought my first bowl from there, the Southern BBQ one, was almost uncomfortably full to eat from. It was really satisfying, but I could have gone for some more sauce or something salty to pour over it. Bonus points for cherry cider on tap.

I eat here at least once a week these days. It's getting out of hand.
