Hello Victoria!!! Meow-Meow and I need your help.
Meow-Meow was my Mom's husband's cat before they got married and moved in together. He found her outside a grocery store in Duncan, so skinny and matted it was clear she was a stray. She was so badly matted that I had to shave 90% of her fur off. My Mom has severe allergies to pet dander and isn't able to live with most animals. Because of this, her husband decided to give up Meow-Meow to what he assumed would be her forever home. Unfortunately the "good christian" woman he thought he sent her home with turned out to be anything but that. She didn't want to scoop out the litter box everyday and Meow-Meow developed a UTI and started peeing in the house. Well, this woman didn't want to own up to her own mistake and instead of dealing with the problem properly, she surrendered Meow-Meow to the SPCA, claiming that she had developed allergies to her and could not longer keep her. I am so outraged and furious with this woman. I have met her on a number of occasions and she has always rubbed me the wrong way, but had I known the situation I would have offered to foster Meow-Meow and find her a real loving home that wouldn't give her up just like that :(
If you live in or near Victoria or knows someone who does and is considering adopting a cat. Please keep Meow-Meow in mind. She is the sweetest cat ever, so lyal and lovable. She deserves an amazing, loving home. She is at the SPCA unnecessarily and it breaks my heart. Please forward this if you know of anyone who might be able to take her in. I wish I could, but would probably be evicted if I acquire more cats. (The lady who lived in my house before me had 11 and I promised my Landlord I would only have 2)
Human, the tastiest animal of all.
