Super hard! and a little dry.. had there been veggies on top, maybe the juices would have kept the base a bit moist?
but that would defeat the point of a meatfeast, no?

Yeah, I gave them even less than the minimum cooking time on the packet.

Yeah, we had them at the weekend (well, Tuesday, but it felt like the weekend), and I liked the meatless feast even though I undercooked it. They tasted just like those nasty little personal pizzas I used to eat as a teenager/young adult. I'd eat them again.

These have been out for a while.. but from the new range of warburtons breads, the round pittas make excellent pizza bases.
And its the only pitta bread I can open without ripping it completely apart.
Just wet the bottom of them so it doesnt crisp up entirely, and add your base sauce plus a teaspoon or two of olive oil to the top, add your toppings and stick under the grill.
Might try and do the ham and pineapple thing (never tried pineapple on pizza) with them since I doubt we'll get the redwood ones around here often.

Alpro custard - it's 'new look' so not really new but new to me. Added a bit of hot chocolate powder and it turned into proper school dinners chocolate custard but without THE SKIN - chocolate banana custard heaven!!

My H&B had the pizzas. It's a miracle!

I'm a bit obsessed.

edit: oh I also tried the fishcake things - they're cack. They fell apart in the pan and they tasted really vinegary. Won't bother with those again.

In ASDA they do sundried tomato and olive and couscous stuffed red peppers, you can find them in the chilled veg section (near where you find the pre cut potatoes/ vegetables etc.) not tried them yet. Of course yes you could so easily make it yourself, but meh. The novelty is in the fact that its already made up.
I also got the creamy alpro yogurts, and I've got some vanilla pouring yogurt...
any ideas of what I can do with the pouring yogurt? I was thinking museli, but I'm open to much more tantalising suggestions.

Well, I thought I posted about this on here, but I guess not. Mornflake make a cereal called Chocolatey Squares that reminds me a lot of Speculoos cereal. It's chocolate pillows filled with chocolate/hazelnut spread. They're amazingly delicious. A 30g serving barely covers the bottom of a bowl, but man, are they good.

Yes! And Sainsbury's! In fact, they're on sale 2/£2.50.

I was at a Tesco Extra today and found the creamy Alpro yogurts and the pouring yogurt. The creamy cherry one, though not entirely creamy (it has bits - I'm not keen on bits), is so so good. I love the flavour. And I'm in a similar position of needing to figure out what to do with the pouring yogurt. I just saw it and thought, something new!, and bought it without knowing what to do with it because I'm a genius.

My theme for MoFo this year is using all the things I have bought and not used because I didn't know what to do with them.

Damn - too bad it isn't October yet.

Maybe I'll see if any omni sources have recommendations for pouring yogurt. I bet it's all in baked goods. Actually, I bet the omni suggestions will be for non-flavoured pouring yogurt, and I think our only option is vanilla. Ooh, maybe I could turn it into frogurt.

Oh, is the pouring yoghurt vanilla? I was kind of doing Kefir type dances in my head.

Yeah, the only one I saw was vanilla. I'm assuming that's the only variety, but I could be wrong I am wrong. I just looked on their website and it says there's a plain. I just didn't see it at Tesco.

Rachell I have to find that cereal! Sounds good! And the cherry yogurt. I do like bits. I also really like that they call it "bits" here. Even the orange juice is like 'with bits'. I laugh so hard. (It's like 'with pulp' in 'merica.) Yay I'm excited for you to show me all these secret awesome products to buy. :P

Had the new cherry yogurt, it certainly is creamy but IMO not mindblowing enough to bring out a whole new range. It just seems a bit less watery.
I LOVE the vanilla pouring yogurt!! Had it over museli (which I've never ever done before) It was gorgeous :) looking forward to breakfast tomorow!

Yes, the steaks. I tried them for the first time last night & they're ridiculously good.

Have the Mornflake squares changed recipe as they used to have whole milk powder and the ingredients list on ocado still list it

I used to love them before being vegan, I'd love to have them again!

They must have changed because it's not listed on the actual box. When I find something that seems to be vegan but isn't marketed towards us or labeled vegan (i.e., it doesn't specifically say "suitable for vegans"), I read the ingredient and allergen lists several times to make sure I didn't miss anything.
